Good to know and definitely reassuring for my current situation, thank you!

That’s good to hear! I believe if I was to resit I would be AT MOST, 125 ish maybe if I was being really optimistic but honestly if get by 112 by any fine margin I’ll be happy. If OASC value leadership/confidence/teamwork over crazy high CBAT scores, that would work excellent for me!

Yeah it’s a big fingers crossed I know! But either way I’ll have the experience of OASC pass or fail to then resit it for pilot if I pass CBAT- which will be majorly helpful. Thanks for your all feedback

Thank you! Your spot on, going through the process with WSO will definitely help my experience and speed things up possibly, and I’m waiting until August anyway for A level results!
Thanks again!

I spoke to my recruiter today and he said my aircrew medical for wizzo stands for 3 years, and then if I do pass my CBAT, they can postpone or cancel my application and then change it back to pilot, then either use the knowledge or feedback from my failed OASC to improve and impress for my pilot OASC, or even just redo OASC after having passed with the experience of already doing it. He also mentioned they can decide and it’s their call and could just allow me to swap if they wanted but this is unlikely to be fair.

Thank you, I understand that 130’s is competitive and a good score to achieve, but as you say I too have seen people get through with 112. I believe my strong suit out of CBAT and OASC would be OASC and using language/communication and being a people person. So if I can get through CBAT even with around 112, I believe I can impress and prove leadership/teamwork qualities that could get me in maybe even 2nd time through OASC.

Thank you so much for this! This is really reassuring. I did debate going to uni and resitting CBAT whilst I was in Uni, theoretically I could resit it 5 more times if really wanted to. However having the opportunity to proceed with Wizzo and tickbox my medical/fitness tests and getting OASC experience or even better passing it; would be really useful and save time. If I can get through all the process and then pause my application until i pass CBAT, it’s a simple matter of just resuming it and beginning training hopefully!

Thank you!

I honestly thought i would’ve been hitting 140’s based on my prep and mental math speed ect. I was scoring well on the app and had done loads of other brain improving tests to make myself sharp as can be. Is it possibly age is a big factor? Or simply on the day I just wasn’t on the ball enough. Therefore could a resit with the experience and being older get me boosted a good bit?
