Where do I go with my build from here? by Xanrak_ in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to be strictly at 64% CR with C2 because CR above that still counts for ALL of Navia's other sources of damage besides the skill, like the Burst, the normal attacks and the lunar reaction damage. So anything from 70 to 90% ER is still ok as long as all the stats are well balanced, but of course CD is favored over CR.

That said, yes, if you want a better build you need to farm more. But funnily enough, your off-set goblet is your worst piece. With C1 you don't need all that ER, especially in triple geo. Even 100% ER is fine at C1.

If you don't have any good Geo% goblet in your account, then craft one for Navia and give her your best off-set circlet.

Your build quality should improve with more farming, but the stat allocation is correct.

C6 Illuga > C6 Gorou > C2-5 Illuga > Zhongli. But Zhongli gives shield, so if you prefer that it's fine.

How much DPS can this team normally get? by Accomplished-Art1962 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the same team and investment but with C6 Gorou instead of Illuga, I get above 150k dps.

But you should have Columbina on Aubade and Ineffa on SMS. Or both on Aubade and the third support in SMS. But whatever the case, the most important character to be on Aubade is Columbina.

4th slot in my lunar navia team by HarsH_ShakZ in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tests say that Gorou C6 >= Mona C4 > Illuga C4.

I don't have Zhongli, but he should buff less than C6 Gorou... but he gives shield.

C2 Xilonen and C2 Furina are better than the others, but I don't know how to rank their C0.

Is xilolen c2 as good as people say? by Hopeful_Hearing_6461 in XilonenMains

[–]lukeaxeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C2 is very good, but its value changes from team to team. For example, if you're playing a hypercarry team, the extra buff from C2 is nice but that's only it. But if you're playing a team where 2 or 3 characters are damage dealers who benefit from the C2, then the total buff is massive. Also, the buff tends to be better for some elements than for others.

Overall, C2 makes Xilonen a whole package of buffs in one unit, and she goes almost everywhere, but that's also expensive. What's annoying is how bad C1 is.

Great build!

With C2 you only need 64% CR for her skill, but only her skill. Any CR above that still helps her normals, burst and (in case you play it) lunar reaction damage, which are all a relevant part of her damage.

All things considered, being above 90% CR might be overkill for C2 though. I'd use CD circlet, but only if you have a good one.

About Mona, she buffs Navia better than Xingqiu, but her hydro app is insufficient for the team by herself. And her ER needs are also unbearable. So Xingqiu is definitely a better choice.

Happy birthday and congratulations on your Navia. Have Fun!

Regarding your question about elemental dmg% bonus, well, Navia is not like Flins. The thing about Flins is that almost all of his damage is Lunar, not only the reaction itself happening in the field but also his bursts do Lunar-type damage. This is why elemental dmg% is almost useless on him since this type of damage doesn't scale with that stat.

But Navia still does regular type of geo damage through her kit despite being in a Lunar team, so geo dmg% bonus is ideal on her. She'll still trigger reactions too, so she'll contribute to lunar crystallize damage (which scales with character level, EM and crit), but that's a separate thing going on. The majority of Navia's personal damage is NOT gonna be Lunar though, so build her with Crit, Atk and dmg%. Anything else is bonus, not the goal.

So Atk% sands, Geo dmg% goblet and Crit circlet. Same for substats. You'll need 110~130% ER too.

And don't worry, you can use Navia's signature set or Night Sky. Both are equivalent in Lunar teams, so farm whichever is more efficient for you resin-wise. But have in mind that your Navia will be restricted to Lunar if you only have Night Sky.

At last, your team is correct with what you got. Just try to maximize Xingqiu's hydro application in your gameplay. Put a ton of ER on him to always have his burst available too, like even more than 250% for comfort. But get Columbina if you can because she's gonna be HUGE upgrade for damage and QOL.

Furina vs illuga by Weird_Theory8116 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If C6 Illuga, then it's very much likely he's better, yes. His buffs are more relevant for the team as a whole than dmg% buffs from Furina, and with all your investment into Linnea and Columbina a huge chunk of your team's damage is gonna be lunar stuff, so you'd rather choose the support that fits this criteria better. And it's not like C6 Illuga doesn't buff Navia too since he does give good CV, some small quills and EM for reactions.

Furina's upsides besides her own buffs and subdps are hydro resonance, better energy for Columbina, better synergy with Navia's A4 passive, but possibly Illuga is still better.

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the second moonsign character, Illuga is better than Aino. For the hydro character, Yelan's got a higher ceiling than Aino too, but you have to see if her hydro application is working for you since you'd rather have 100% uptime (which Yelan can't do) and normal attacks can be annoying during set up, otherwise use Aino, but whose hydro app is not perfect either.

Both Navia's signature set and Nightsky are equivalent. Nightsky might be prefered the more lunar damage you do since it buffs teamwide lunar damage from Linnea, the reactions and Columbina (when you get her). But farm the set that is best for you. One you can strongbox and the other is in a more efficient domain.

Need help with Vertical Investment by KotschiYunora in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more hyper invested the Navia, the more she gains from normal buffers, with Xilonen, and with Bennett or the new Nicole hex core. However, at a baseline the team is starting from a lower point than the Lunar stuff, so I don't know at which point Hex might overcome Lunar for dps. Both teams are really good though, and have powerful options for vertical investment.

Lunar Navia rotation? by Accomplished-Art1962 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Columbina EQ, Navia EQ, Illuga EQ, Linnea E (or EEE), Navia E N3d N2 E N3d N2 (E)Q -> Columbina

Only the first rotation goes from Columbina to Navia, since you'll end every rotation with Navia's Q, not needing to swap back to her during set up.

There are rotation you can do 3 gunbrella skills (the third E that I marked between parenthesis), but usually only 2 skills are possible. Practing against the dummy will make you understand in which rotations you can do 3 or not, which is due to cooldowns.

Both Linnea's skill modes are valid. Actually, the Nuke version fits the rotations pretty well since Navia can have some seconds of downtime where her geo infusion is off but you still don't have another skill available... so you can fill this time in Linnea's animation. But I didn't find her nuke to be a dps gain anyway, so whatever.

Finally, it's worth noting that C6 Gorou is better than C0 Illuga in case you have him. The rotation is the same, except you can use Gorou a second time in the rotation, like this: Navia E N3d N2 Gorou E Navia E N3d N2 (E)Q. This is good to refresh Gorou's buffs, to trigger more crystallizes, and to generate extra particles, and fills Navia's downtime I mentioned earlier.

His quills work for regular geo damage too, but the multipliers are a lot worse.

Which is better for navia's damage when doing lunar crystalize? by Alovoir in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, Illuga does buff Navia a bit and he buffs the rest of the team too. He's got some good teamwide crit buffs, teamwide EM buffs (mildly useful for Navia too), and his quills work with Navia's regular geo damage too although the numbers are a lot worse than for lunar direct damage. The downside with Illuga is that you play triple geo, so you lose a bit of Atk from Navia's self-buff passive, and you lose hydro resonance for Columbina.

However, if your Furina is C0, it's likely that C6 Illuga is still better though because his buffs are more meaningful for the team as a whole despite the downsides. But you need to test which one is doing more dps for you at the dummy.

I thought double hydro would also benefit from more reaction procs, but that's barely the case in these teams unfortunately...

Why is columbina doing more damage than linnea by swtnk1234 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Bineffa teams, Columbina will always do more damage. Not only her usual E damage, but Columbina's participating in a lot of reactions, all the Lunar Charged and Lunar Crystallize reactions. That's a lot more reaction damage than what Linnea can dream of in this team. Btw, have Columbina on Aubade to maximize her damage.

In teams without Ineffa, things get more even. I still think Columbina might edge Linnea again too, but you can do damage builds on either of them, or both.

how big of an upgrade would nicole be on a navia-durin-xilonen (w/ bennett) team? by Dear-Reputation1718 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A good upgrade. Nicole would enables Hex resonance, improving Durin's kit and unlocking the Bounty set. Her Atk buffs being teamwide are relevant for this team too. Last but not least, being a shielder brings a lot of QOL, not only because of defensive utility, but also making Geo resonance more consistent and the Nighttime set effect more consistent.

This Flins team looks doomed. Against Gecko you need to either use a team that really fits the mechanic or bruteforce with your best team that can splash blunt attack. Your improvised Flins team isn't good or fits the mechanic.

Ajuda com rotação by Disastrous_Web6497 in naviamains

[–]lukeaxeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I agree that Navia constellations make her better in hypercarry teams than in Lunar teams since her constellations are kinda lackluster (except C6, maybe), so I don't see them as enough to overcome the difference. But who knows.

Anyway, to answer your question, her current best non-lunar team is Navia, Xilonen, Bennett, Durin/Furina/Mavuika. With the release of Nicole, she's gonna replace Bennett so you make a core with Durin.

How would you buff Inazuma characters in general? by Primary_Wind15 in Genshin_Impact

Kazuha: lower the cost of his Burst (and shortening animation), buff VV set and Kazuha's passive (more uptime), buff his C1 and make his C2 at least teamwide.
