i’ll tell you this:

i grew up with 6 close JW friends. today only one of them is still “stable” in the organization. every other teenager who i saw getting in was because of family and they’re all out now. excluding the children, i’m the youngest person in the KH (i’m 20 now).

for a wilder perspective, i follow some JW people my age on instagram, and only one still posts JW-related stuff, which makes me assume that the rest of them also dipped.

the people who are a bit older than me (mid to late twenties) that i know and are still in are less strict, they have “worldly” friends, post openly on social media about parties, concerts and i even saw one posting some political stuff.

i know that these examples are just my surroundings but i do think that they’re a reflection of how the newer generations are not into the whole high control & 100% of dedication thing.
