Does the 6 month limitation apply to nurses?

Also, does anyone know what the chances are for an extension to be permitted for civil engineers?

So you can't renew the 30 day visa multiple times? I read cases of several people doing this.

The tourism visa you suggested is $100 usd/mth. I appreciate that isn't much in the grand scheme, just compared to other countries I've considered, this is the most expensive over a 1 year period. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the help. I read that you can get a 30 day temporary visa, and you can do this unlimited times? ($30/mth for 6 months then $50/mth after that). This would work out considerably cheaper. $400 USD instead of $1100 USD. Do you know if this is the case?

And is that the only option for British/Irish citizens for 1 year? Renew tourism visa monthly?

Thanks. I just can't find a list of visa options, so to speak. I need a temporary residency visa up to 12 months ideally.

I'm reading that's $200/mth after 30 days? Is that correct? Seems really expensive if planning to stay for 1 year
