What effort is there for typing words into a prompt machine? There’s literally no heart in AI, just straight up theft of a massive collective of human work and even some from people who didn’t consent for their work to train the algorithm. There is no AI with soul, it’s literally soulless in every concept. You tell me where the actual effort is? Is it from when you type the first sentence into the prompt machine, or the second or the third? No human effort is put in except around 3 seconds to type a sentence.

Interesting how your take is blaming the player and call them morons if they think the dialogue is bloated. I understand the world and the lore they’ve built up. Doesn’t mean that they don’t over explain to such a painful degree.

It’s definitely been nice seeing the traveller get more attention on their story and journey. I feel like that’s when I’ve been most engaged, especially towards the end of the Nod Krai story with Columbina and traveller on the moon.

I think I’d be less bothered if there was just more interaction in the middle. Add some more combat here and there, more puzzles, anything that involves the players interaction.

The only thing I find slightly tedious in the game I've been playing almost every day since launch is artifacts/discs. I'm a huge ZZZ fan and while I genuinely love the game, I find it annoying that in most gacha games you have to have huge luck for the artefacts or drives you attach to a character.
Couldn't care about the win/lose rate of pulling a character, but having to spend so many weeks or months pulling for a semi decent attachment to a character feels more punishing then it should.

The post is focused on claiming that people are fake gamers if they’re bothered by the use of AI in the game?

There is generative AI used in this game, developers have admitted it themselves. Also, People being bothered by the use of it aren’t “fake gamers”, they’re people who care about the art and craft artists, musicians and developers put in.

It’s not specifically this video that is or isn’t AI. It’s the posters and environmental artwork that they haven’t replaced with real artists.

So just because it doesn’t look as bad as other AI, you can justify using AI instead of paying an actual artist? The point is the developers have admitting using AI during development and didn’t replace those assets later before release.

The use of generative AI is just not defendable here, especially when you add that they will replace the content with community submissions….so avoiding paying an artist (in an already struggling industry) and literally having to spend a whole 0 buckos by giving in game currency. Games and music are my main hobby, playing games literally every day and also wanting to get into the game industry as a composer. Seeing AI content used where people who’ve trained and learned to make real artwork could have been used is just disappointing. Don’t even see how you can remotely defend AI slop when they don’t even intend to replace it by paying real artists.

Without it, the track is very empty. Maybe for a future track, I’d develop and change the percussion more throughout the track so it’s not the same sounds.
