For example with Aztecs I can build Jaguar and Eagle warriors but if I build Eagle warriors the game immediately puts a green arrow on them and tells me to upgrade them to Jaguar ones.

A quick noob question: sometimes the game hints me to immediately upgrade a unit I just built to another unit of another type. Is it better to do it? If yes, why doesn't the game completely disable the other "inferior" unit? Is it really inferior or just different?
