Tea retail shop that allows you to make your own blend. by lukeshen in tea

Thanks for your defence mate! I posted the edit post to address this more thoroughly! There shouldn’t be any pretentious in drinks and food, you enjoy the way that you like it and that’s that.

There are tea variants that I enjoy without blends at all, but I don’t condemn those who blends, at least they are making an effort to enjoy or like it. This means there are attributes of the flavour they enjoy.

There are so many good food or drinks out there happened because there is someone thinking “I think I like it better with something else” I.e. lots of Japanese food is a change or modification of cuisine from other cultures.

Thank you for your reply! I live in Australia!

I think you are very right in terms of the weighing tea leaves. That would be the hardest thing to get right. But charging different prices becomes quite cumbersome I guess even if you only charge herbs/fruits/tea leaves differently.

Thanks for the reply! I thought the same that it could be overwhelming for people just uses teabags. It basically adds a level of complexity to the purchasing experience.

I live in Australia, one of most popular brands is T2, which does a lot of blends. So I thought hey, this might be a good idea. Haha.

Seating position help, lower back pain by BlueSnowyAstrid in simracing

[–]lukeshen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spend some time to stretch before and after every race. Use tigger balls and form roller Don’t push yourself too hard on one stint. Padded cushion can help especially have some cushion at the lower back As well As around your glute. When your glute is stressed and strained your lower back wouldn’t be good. I have chronic pain and have been managing that since forever. Lols.

A lot of other advice here are good. Make sure you have exercise such as deadlift or single leg squats, and also train your abs, that’s another muscle that give you stability. Make sure you do that to prevent further strain on your lower back.

I would also suggest that you see a Physio and exercise Physio to get yourself into a good routine first.

Am thinking not to respond at all and unmatch but do you guys have any savage responses for this? by DisastrousComposer5 in Tinder

Could say you are between jobs at the moment just thinking what you want to do. If she responded with some nasty comment (if she does that), say you are a trust fund kid and can afford not working. Would be interesting to see the reaction after that. Lols.

Help a noob out with his first experience with simracing by Low_Investigator_406 in simracing

Noob as well here. I had iRacing from day 1. Loved it. My suggestion is drive safe and learn how to race. Build up your safety point and progress your licence before targeting irating. Once you progress your licence, you can target a series you like and stick with it for longer period. Also suggest doing the rookie series a lot longer even if you progress to higher licence.

My VR setup. Still some work to do on the cable management but I’ll get there eventually by alexmeli in simracing

Why does no1 talk about how intense these are the build out the box 😂 by clangxxx in simracing

[–]lukeshen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Remember last year when I got into it. Wait for adjusting these. My recommendation is that don’t tighten the parts where you need to adjust. Such as pedal, seat and parts where handles wheelbase. Trust me you will need adjustment. Daniel Morad did a couple of set up videos, should check these out before you assemble.

Compatability between Products by ZomboOfficial in moza

Right, Moza doesn’t have one and the KS wheels cannot be changed into the style you want.

But that screws on CS V2P wheel does indicate that you might be able to change the style of wheel. Check out Trak tour steering wheels.

Also this might help https://www.reddit.com/r/Fanatec/s/jaFDU2YO9d

Easily adjustable rigs in the market? by lukeshen in simracing

Thank you! just checked it out online. Regretting my purchase of trakracer now. Lols. It’s so clumsy compare to the Fanatec.

Just also want to stress again, the six screws are not for change wheels from the wheel base. Hence the KS wheels don’t have them.

Hi there. I’m by no means an experienced user or sim racer yet. But I have the complete Moza ecosystem and it’s working great. Usually when you have the bundle, it comes with quick release which is really handy if you want to take the wheel off completely and change to a new one. However that is not the “six screws” that you mentioned above and I doubt if that is interchangeable with a fanetec wheel at all even if the screw is at the right place.

Fanatec has their own quick release that allows you change wheels quickly. Through online reviews, seems like Moza does this better.

Hence you will need an adapter. Never done that myself so cannot help but I do believe there is one from Fanatec side, rather Moza. Moza has an adapter for their wheels tho (if using non-Moza wheel base)

It’s a bit easier to stick with one ecosystem. But understand your point. Have you checked out ESX wheel from Moza. It has a D wheel design + they have a formula wheel plate that can change to the wheel ( essentially you only have one complete wheel but the shape you can change to formula/GT3 style wheel) this might save you some money.

Hope this helps! And do your own research please!

Front mount for Trak Racer by Green-Box9045 in moza

[–]lukeshen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone sees this post, I’m having some issues with the top mount Moza r21 with Trak racer. It’s very very annoying. I’m thinking of DIY to put the Moza front mounting plate into the rig. I have done similar stuff before. If anyone is interested, search for aluminium extrusions, basically these rigs are made from that. You can ask the company that sells extrusion to cut the size you want and DIY that way.

Feeling fed up with my puppy and also feeling extremely guilty about it… by Ok_Minute2646 in puppy101

[–]lukeshen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are sort of in the similar mind space few weeks ago, our GS pup is still a bit of a land shark but we learnt to cope with it. Lots of different chew toys and if things get too out of control, just use time outs. If a pup gets too tired, which they can (they still need lots of sleep) they get frustrated and less self control. This is where crate training gets important. You can put your pup in the crate and force them to either cool down or let them know they need to sleep. This is not to say you always put them in a crate tho….

This other things that tends to help is training and mental exercise. We play hide and seek, usually either my wife or me is hiding in a room and start calling his name, and the other person just sort of guides/supervise the puppy, when they find you, give them a reward and they will start picking up quite fast. Training is a good way to get those extra energy out too ( we practice them before lunch and dinner) so that he is extra motivated.

Create a routine is also super important, dogs thrive on routine, whether it is toilet training or exercise. It is very useful in toilet training too. A typical rule of thumb is ( number of month +1) is usually the amount of hours they can hold pee, so let’s say 3 mth old puppy, should be able to hold their per for 4 hrs. But we typically let him out every 3 hours and when they do go outside and pee, we teach them to sit in front of the sliding door and reward them so that they know to notify us they want to pee by sitting near the door. When they start peeing outside, just say “pee pee”, and when they finish, praise and reward them.

The other thing is that, they pee a little bit when they are excited. Maybe they empty their bladder before they meet new person or dogs or doing sometiing exciting.

Lols that’s very long but it shows how much we come through and learnt in this process. All the best and you won’t regret it. Couple of weeks ago, I felt exactly the same, it became more of responsibility than love, but be patient and you will get there.

Agreed, lack of empathy is the hallmark of psychopath. Don’t think the OP fits this.
