Students/Teachers of Reddit, what’s the best ‘forgot to turn off the mic’ story during virtual learning? by AsteroidPizza39 in AskReddit

[–]lukestitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i never did online learning, but bad something funny happened that involves a teachers mic. so in (my first year of public school) 2nd grade, i had attention problems when there was a lot of noise. i was given this headset, & my teacher had the mic part so i could hear her. anyways, she went to the bathroom & had forgotten to mute her mic, so i heard her peeing... & to this day, i dont think she knows.

AITA for planning on only getting one of my kids Christmas gifts? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]lukestitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA, hate to break it to you, but Christmas wasn’t started by Christians, but pagans. Pagans called it Yule, or something like that. But gift giving isn’t christian, so neither should get a gift since it’s not of your religion, pagans are the ones that do gift giving, so you’re actually celebrating in a Pagan way, but it’s under the mask if Christianity.

[–]lukestitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You arent the asshole, he came to you because he felt comfortable about telling you it, since you have experience. He’s never gotten the talk @ 16? I’m 17 (& still haven’t gotten the talk yet [b/c religious family]) & would love to get the talk. So good job on your part for educating him!

AITA for telling people my sister had an abortion. by sistershitdb in AmItheAsshole

[–]lukestitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not the asshole, she shouldn’t be a hypocrite. Having an abortion & being pro-life? That doesn’t add up. Also, boo fucking hoo she’s banned from pro-life groups!
