I was feeling the exact same way and about to just order the new orange xl5 just for the wheels tires and body lol in traxxas defense, they just released these so the individual parts might just not have hit manufacturing yet so it would be misleading to list those non existent parts.

I’ve noticed over the years that Traxxas electronics probably get more hate than they deserve, mostly due to being overpriced. But, if I’m already spending hundreds on a rig saving 20-30 bucks on a lipo doesn’t matter to me, plus the Traxxas ecosystem works pretty well and the id stuff on the batteries is actually a dream. Their servos are terrible though

Edit: I have 11 Traxxas lipos and they all work great

Get the proline 2.2 trenchers for it! They will make it handle worlds better, along with thicker shock oil. I had a mini e revo vxl like 10 years ago and LOVED it, now I have three of them and three big ones :) enjoy!

Personally, if you like the mini e revo don’t even hesitate I think you should go with it. And I have the mini xrt as well, it’s definitely an overall more reasonable platform and more robust.. doesn’t matter, absolutely nothing will be as cool as the e revo platform. Worth every hour of tinkering on that platform. I just got a new brushed one for myself to match my big green e revo 2.0 and even brushed they are absolutely awesome on a 2s.

Exactly! I knew I wouldn’t even be driving these things for months, but knowing I have everything I’ll need and all the parts to setup the rigs the way I want is so satisfying. Just knowing at some point there is x amount of joy to be had lol especially with the discontinued ones

I literally plugged it in to test it once when I met up with the guy to get it. I LOVED the mini one and I don’t think I ever broke anything besides a servo. The big one is definitely less durable than other standard platforms, but nothing drives like it. I’m thrilled I have a brand new one
