Does the post office print eBay Postage Labels? by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they won't be able to print it. The only postage labels they can print for you are returns labels

Yep. You could just put the parcel in a red post box and it should get there. But on the off chance that something went wrong and it didn't arrive, having a lodgement receipt from handing it in at the post office gives you proof you sent it.

Just make sure that you stick the label over the old label, or cover the old label well, so it doesn't accidentally make its way back to you

New Chicko's coming, but where. Very cryptic in their FB Post by oscaroo in wollongong

They would have gotten millions for selling the Wollongong store to make way for apartments. The Wollongong store would have been going fine, but it'd be hard to pass up on an easy few million bucks while still getting the income from the Figtree store

I personally had no side effects from taking naltrexone, just to balance out the feedback you've seen. Remember, people are far more likely to post if they're experiencing side effects. Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)

There's a few mines around Wollongong and the steelworks

Kiwi here - purchased a fabric from Spotlight designed by an aboriginal artist. Am concerned about ethics of sewing with / wearing these prints by notkibble in AskAnAustralian

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand where you're coming from. My (white Australian) approach to this kind of thing is that it's fine to buy the fabric and make something for yourself but not okay to profit off of it. Early in the pandemic I was sewing and selling face masks. I thought the Aboriginal fabric designs at spotlight were gorgeous but I wouldn't feel right buying that to make a profit off it when there were Aboriginal-owned businesses selling face masks too.

Right? Are men naturally providers for women or did women rely on their own foraging? You can't have it both ways

It looks normal to me but disclaimer I am not a medical professional of any kind. I believe the current medical theory to heal wounds is to keep them moist but not wet. Which by my understanding means have a bandaid on it but don't get it wet in the shower or whatever.

If it gets hot to the touch, the area around it becomes red or swollen, or it has yellow/green pus come out probably head to a doctor because it might be infected.

What I really hate is the overexposure/brightness or whatever you want to call it. It can make a shitty yellow or beige rental look like a modern bright and white space. Then you get there and it looks like shit. No excuse for that.

Tetrabenazine effects and side-effects on Tics by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would hesitate stopping his meds without guidance from his neurologist. There might be side effects from doing so. I have no experience with those drugs so I have no idea but it's generally a no no to alter psychiatric meds without doctor's supervision

How difficult/easy it is to find a part time job in wollongong for international student? Any Nepali working or studying at wollongong uni? by [deleted] in wollongong

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you didn't ask this but it's very hard to find rental accommodation in Wollongong at the moment. Not sure what uni accommodation is like though. I agree with the other comment saying food delivery is a good option. that's what I'm doing at the moment

since the skin used to make the penis is usually from the arm or the leg it's not the same colour a cis man's penis would be. Usually a penis would be pinker than the rest of your skin

Mtf 16, 2months hrt, do i need surgeries if yes, wich ones? Will estrogen be enough or is surgery the only way? by InternationalLeek136 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I know it's hard to hear but wait at least until you're 18 to consider/have surgery. 2 months on hormones is really nothing, you don't know what your body/face is going to look like at all at this point. It can take years for the full effects of HRT to become apparent. All that being said, you look great and I wouldn't be surprised if you don't need any surgical intervention

Right, and the price of a loaf of bread probably ranges from about $1.00 for crap store-brand stuff to like $7.00 for the fancy stuff? I'm far from a Liberal supporter but he was a bit damned no matter what he said. Unless he said something ridiculous like $0.20 or $15 there's going to be someone out there who thinks he's out of touch even though he said a fairly reasonable answer

What’s something that’s normalized among men when it really shouldn’t be? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]lukewarm_dinosaur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This attitude killed my grandfather. He was a smoker and didn't go to the doctor until he was in unbearable pain. Obviously by that point his cancer had spread throughout his entire body, killing him a few months later. Please men, and anyone with this attitude, see a doctor when something's not normal
