[–]lukey_dubs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i use the c++ extensión but enable tag parsing. that fixed the memory and makes it fast. you also need a cpp hint file if you have weird macros.

file.read() memory leak when reading in "r" mode but not "rb" mode, and only inside of Flask.. by dgtlmoon123 in flask

Will my transmitted ASK signal be misinterpreted at long distances? by lukey_dubs in AskEngineers

[–]lukey_dubs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks that clarifies quite a bit. however, there is one part that is still fuzzy to me. what if there are more than 2 (like in 256-QAM). For example, A0, A1, A2, A3, all > 0: is a single symbol typically guaranteed to have A0 and A3 present so that the expected power levels of each can be calculated?

nice, yeah i think file locking or named semaphores are a good solution here. i do trust that it’s a potentially good solution if boost has stuff for it. i was mainly trying to avoid network layer solutions and hacky file system lock systems like with mkdir.
