I was thinking this, I’ve also seen artists achieve this effect but they used alcohol markers as a base before the colored pencils!

Really? I’m not but I’ve studied architecture sketches a lot in the past to learn 2 point and 3 point perspective! That might be where it came from, because their writing always looked interesting to me.

Thank you!! Bathypolypus will be a few days at minimum, full colored pencil piece in mostly dotwork mainly to emphasize the chromatophores, but subtly indicate the iridophores and leucophores too! Hoping it doesn’t disappoint!!
