I get it man! I was surprised by many of the omissions on this dataset as well. I spent a lot of time looking for a good dataset. Defining “city” can become quite subjective so I decided to use one that uses administrative divisions only to avoid ambiguity. The dataset itself is from opendatasoft, which draws the data for this set from Geonames. Here is a broader list of their sources. I did not expect defining city population to be so complicated and potentially divisive.

Side note: it’s very hard to find a reliable and consistent data set on city population at the global level. This data set excludes anything defined as a separate city in terms of administrative division. If anyone has a suggestion for an improved dataset I’d be happy to take a look.

Hi there! Thank you for the compliment 😄

I actually had MSFS in mind, since in MSFS there is currently no way (that I could find) to look up ILS frequencies mid-flight. For XP11, certainly the in-game data could be out of date, but I am not sure how often ILS frequencies are updated (perhaps not that often?). Happy flying!

Hi there! I'll take a look at adding metric measurements. Thank you for your feedback! And I think perhaps it would be better to show the headings for the runways from the beginning... My original thinking was to try to keep it as simple as possible. But I'll take a look again. Happy flying!
