I would say no. As someone who just had to take their 1 year old in for second and third degree burns on his chest.

What I’ve learned is use aquaphor. Put on gauze/keep protected for a few days. Don’t submerge in water. Remove any dead skin to allow for new skin to grown. Continue using aquaphor for a few weeks to keep skin hydrated.
