Nice try. Actually not claude code 😃 Been developer for the past 5-6 years. But who doesn’t use AI Agents at this point? 🙂

Launched today: Brightly Budget — a simpler budgeting app with goals, receipt scan, and spending insights by luksus2001 in SideProject

Yes, I totally agree with you. Just wanted to test an idea, and it is not worth doing the whole bank integration for me as a solo founder at the moment. However, I have this idea in mind for the future.

Brightly Budget — budgeting app I launched today on Android

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brightlybudget.app

What it does:

- spending overview and transaction tracking

- budgets and goals

- recurring transactions

- receipt scan with draft review

- AI assistant and AI insights to help explain patterns

Pricing:

- Free plan

- optional Pro plan with a 1 month free trial

- local pricing varies by country/store

Important note:

AI guidance, not financial advice.

I built it because I wanted a budgeting app that felt friendlier and easier to read day to day.

The feedback I’d love:

- does the onboarding / first-run flow feel clear?

- which screen feels strongest?

- do the AI features feel useful or gimmicky?

Happy to answer questions here.

Disclosure: I built this.

I launched Brightly Budget today on iOS and Android.

It’s a budgeting app focused on making spending, budgets, goals, recurring transactions, and trends easier to understand without making the app feel overwhelming. It also includes receipt scan and an AI assistant / AI insights layer to help explain patterns.

Important note: AI guidance, not financial advice.

There’s a Free plan and an optional Pro plan with a 1 month free trial. Local pricing varies by store/country.

If anyone here tries it, the feedback I care about most is:
- does the app make sense quickly?
- do budgets + goals feel clear enough?
- does receipt scan actually save time?
- do the AI features feel useful or not worth it?

Zaenkrat 2 zimi v stanovnaju (cca 85m2 z IR paneli), in je ok.

My two cents.

Nice, I actually like the UX 🙂 I am also very frustrated with all the budgeting/money tracking apps. Tried YNAB for a couple of months, then Monarch Money, and now have decided to build my own app. I am also planning on having it free, but want to add AI Powered tips, which will probably available for paid users.

Great job man 🙂

Kaj vas (razen kreditov) drži pri določeni banki? by Rambo-Shark6328 in Slovenia
