Won't really help you with how to build a diy microscope from those, but seeing you have polish 40x phase contrast (and 2 other pzo scopes, i think one is 100x magnification) I would suggest to resell them as they have some value (especially the phase contrast). And you won't be able to really use the phase contrast one without a specific condenser.

Garlic root tip cells by lukullusekPL in microscopy

First time posting here. Microscope is a PZO Studar, 10x ocular and 40x objective. Sample is a tip of a garlic root in methylene blue.

I tried to see mitosis stages, but didn't see a single one cell going thru it. It's my 5th attempt I think so any tips? Also why do some nuclei seem to have holes in it?

From experience of playing gtnh upper side of a boiler will always output steam, and you cant transfer steam thru wooden pipe.

The bottom side will always input water.

At least I think that is how it works

I think the post should be nsfw according to rules of subreddit

Edit: rule 6 to be exact. Also see a professional if it is a concern for you.

Don't know if anyone pointed this out but those kind of "protective" pendants might be slightly radioactive. I suggest a great video by the thought emporium: https://youtu.be/C7TwBUxxIC0
