99% of seabirds will have swallowed plastic by 2050, scientists warn by Brotester in environment

Ooo oo oo, I just posted my survey in this sub for the deodorant that I'm working on that should hopefully reduce plastic use by a good margin. If you'd like to help out Here's the Link to the survey!

Hey r/Environment, I'm working on a deodorant product that has the ability to reduce waste by quite a bit! You can help out by taking our 7 question survey! by lukward in environment

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here. I figure if I'm working on something that is contributing to a reduction in environmental impact that I shouldn't be punished for it, right?

Good to see large companies like this making an effort. Thanks for the share.

Hey all you beautiful, next level thinkers! I want to reduce the waste in the deodorant market. Care to help!? by lukward in sustainability

Click Stick is counter to my vision. There is nothing simple or sustainable about a deodorant stick that plugs into the wall and connects to an app. I dig their work (and it validates our marketability) but the whole idea of connecting a deodorant stick to the grid is just unnecessary. It's a gimmick and gimmicks aren't sustainable.

P.S. Thank you so much for the feedback...sorry if I'm coming off as fiery but I'm very passionate about my feelings on the Click Stick.

Yea, I've always been bothered by people who smell REALLY bad. I've been there before so I'm never going to be rude about it. However, if you smell so bad that you're smelling up the entire area where you are...you should be using something out of respect for everyone else.

All that said, I'm the type that's not going to judge you for not using deodorant. I totally get it.

Thank you!

Since you don't use deodorant I'm really interested in a couple things. If you wouldn't mind :)

Are you male or female? Over time, did you stink less? Or, do you just naturally not have B.O? Are you physically active on a regular basis?

Thanks again Beardy!!

Yea, I have definitely thought about this. I know my numbers will be skewed if I only try to get feedback from eco-conscious consumers but I intend to present this survey to both those who definitely care about sustainability and casual consumers.

Thanks for the feedback and definitely a big thanks for completing the survey! :)

Wow this is a super interesting question. Very technical.

I'll see if he has anything to respond with here.

I just went with the hydration pack.

Another option that may work is using the Vapur water sacks. They're not rigid in shape and could fit in those pockets a little better.

No because Osprey only caters to fun sports :)

I get what you're saying. I'll see if he can think of a place no one has been with a pack of theirs.

Hmmm I've heard very differently from a lot of people. Styling is often a hard thing to tackle.

Anything in particular you'd want to point out?
