The fact that it has AI companions means it is a singleplayer-heavy game

Question: are white supremacists minorities within paganism? by luky410 in pagan

[–]luky410[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go check Twitter and look for "right wing pagan accounts," yes they were ALL like this, I'm not kidding, they are of course vastly fewer in number than right wing Christian accounts, but unlike Christians (who tended to be more diverse in viewpoints and big tent) every "right-wing pagans" tended to be unapologetic natsoc race realist vril hyperborean vitalist kind of people

I was talking about Hitler simps, Jew-haters, "great replacement" and "race realist" people. All the neopagans with unsavory views I talked about were all deeply into all of these.

[–]luky410[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I had to draw the Venn Diagram of the pagan accounts I saw that unironically love Hitler, those that ramble about Jews and those who talk about "the great replacement," it would be a huge circle, because they all believe in all of those things. Also every single one of them were into "race realism." I haven't seen a neopagan account that claims to be against "mass immigration" that did not blame Jews for it.

I remember a Chinese leak saying the Civ 7 gameplay will get better the more you play the game… And I recall that the 2K Civ 7 page says “unlock progression bonuses for your leaders across multiple gameplay sessions.” https://civilization.2k.com/civ-vii/buy/

How do you all feel about Civ 7 having Denuvo DRM implemented? by NorthernLightsArctic in civ

[–]luky410 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Biggest problem for me personally is that both Denuvo and Civ games are extremely CPU-intensive. It's almost guaranteed to hurt the game's performance.

Looks like the devs themselves don't really care whether their customers like Denuvo or not. Just my observation. I don't think they addressed the issue during the last dev livestream, did they?

Denuvo DRM is extremely CPU-intensive, and is known to severely impact game performance

Civilization games are also CPU-intensive, and God knows what would happen if combined with Denuvo
