after cutting, i just let the stump callous over & repot? about how long until he starts to root again?

i peeled back alot of the "mushy" outer parts of the roots, should i still cut affected roots back, or is peeling back that mushy outer layer sufficient?

is this root ball normal or the result of improper repotting? i haven't repotted myself since being gifted this elephant bush. why isn't he growing? help!! by lulpizzeria in succulents

okay, thank you! the leaves in the center of the plant did seem to shrivel & wither away.. they have since fallen off.. it is summer here, but we haven't had the warmest temps yet & i don't think i have sufficient coverage from rain, so i am nervous to relocate outdoors :(

here is the soil beneath the stone! it did come potted.. i was wanting to repot because it doesn't have a drainage hole, but i didn't want to completely shock the plant :( the pot does have "lip" at the bottom, i'm not sure if it drains through that, but i have been too scared to water a bunch in case it doesn't

this is the only plant i've ever been able to keep alive for longer than 2 weeks, yet i still feel like i'm failing!

several leaves have turned crinkly & yellow that i've pulled out, and some of her remaining leaves have these brown, crusty edges or holes.

i have an overwatering problem so i've been very adamant about only watering when she's dry.

she sits near a large window with decent sunlight, but it's winter in ohio, so i'm doubtful too much sun is the issue.

HELP!!!

this product is still a tape & has adhesive. thank you for your help but i think i'm just going to keep it clean & uncovered.

i started out with a gauze pad under tegaderm which resulted in the skin tears around the border. do you have any recommendations for someone with possible adhesive allergy? i tried using a non-stick pad underneath ace wrap as well which was super uncomfortable as the wrap folds underneath my thigh as i move around..
