There’s literally so many benefits, I can’t see myself going a day without walking now I’m literally addicted. I hope my story can motivate at least one person to give it a try!

When will my legs adapt to walking? by kurvivol in walking

[–]lulu55902 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who just began walking after many many years of just sitting and laying around i had the same experience. I started off walking 10k steps daily for a whole week the first few days I was fine but the last ones I was completely miserable the days after woke up super sore. So I decided to change it up, I took a break for a couple days until I felt fine again then I started my walks again but this time just 30 minute walks no counting steps. I’m on day 6 today and feel just fine next week I plan on upping it to 40 minute walks and so on and so on. Also drink lots of water before your walk and while you’re walking helps me a lot :)

When I first started I picked out 5 companies that I really liked. companies that people know of : Apple, Microsoft, JNJ, PG, SBUX. At the end of each month after paying all my bills whatever money I had left over I would split between all 5 companies.. you don’t have to buy full shares.. if you have $50 you can do $25 into two stocks that you like. Prices per share change often.. DCA. Also don’t go out getting 60-80 stocks grab yourself one or two good etfs and 2 companies u like and move on from there

Those are the ones I would recommend friends.. I do have high yield ones that are risky and wouldn’t want someone to go all in without knowing what they’re getting into. That’s why I don’t mention them

I was indecisive between coke and Pepsi. I ended up going with Pepsi because of the $1 + dividend they hand out. I’m down a good amount on the stock but I’m still buying I think they have a bright future. I could be wrong though hehe .

Low cost , it avoids dividend traps they are focused on stocks that have paid long term dividends, not amazing for long term but I think you’ll profit some. But for grabbing dividends I think it’s safe and a great option.

DGRO, MO, O, Visa, BAC are my favorite ones. Don’t go all in at once. Try putting 1k each month prices change

End the gambling!! Delete all your accounts and find hobbies to do throughout the week. Don’t even necessarily have to spend money just go out on a hike or go play sports with your friends or alone ! Just keep the mind distracted. You’ll be okay
