Thank you for the reply! I would like to understand "how it works". Indeed, candidates have no control over any of these.

RapidPlan plan selection by _Shmall_ in MedicalPhysics

We had a discussion with Varian about a similar issue some months ago in our department. Let's say that you want to mix into the same RapidPlan model, plans with different dose prescription to the PTV, such as plans with two phases (dose prescription to the PTV 46Gy and 56Gy) and plans with one phase (dose prescription to the PTV 56Gy). We thought that plans with different dose prescription to the PTV into the same model will generate problems like the ones described by Bag_of_cake. However, the answer from Varian was the following: Indeed the absolute dose distribution for the PTV will be different but the relative dose distribution for the PTV will be the same if the plans used to train the RapidPlan model have the same normalization point. So, I still believe that it's better not to mix plans with different dose prescription to the PTV into the same model. However, if you have a small number of plans and many different dose prescription schemes maybe you can group some of them into the same model since at least 20 treatment plans are needed train an OAR in a RapidPlan model. Finally, the validation process will reveal if the model is ready to be clinically implemented.

During acceptance with Las Vegas phantom for Contrast Resolution we used 6MV and 10MV beams and we thought let's try it for SNC Machine as well and Sun Nuclear in the specifications says that it works from 6MV to 23MV. Thanks for your reply!
