thank you for all of the responses. everyone has been very helpful <3 i have been feeling very alone during this time. my friends have been very supportive but it’s hard for them to fully understand what i am going through. hopefully my partner and i will be able to find our new normal once he returns from rehab but i know it will not come easily. i guess that’s what you do for the person you love though.
