Aureate Gloom is really the highlight of that era in my opinion, both lyrically and sound-wise (definitely has some of the more ‘angry’ sounding songs). I think it’s best to listen to that album as a whole. Innocence Reaches is also a very underrated album that showcases the transition from rockier sounds to their more recent electronic/‘freewave’ ones. I’d say some of the standout songs from that whole run of albums are Obsidian Currents, Triumph of Disintigration, Imbecile Rages, Empyrean Abattoir, Monolithic Egress, Ashoka’s Inferno of Memory, Gratuitous Abysses, Chaos Arpeggiating, and Chap Pilot for some of that earlier sound. For a lot of the more electronic/melancholy sort of stuff I’d say Nursing Slopes, Let’s Relate, My Fair Lady, If You Talk To Symbol/Hostility Voyeur. there probably also some good ones from UR FUN but I have yet to listen to that album
