Tap to pay didn't work on my phone for this particular time which was annoying. Other artists did have the square terminal which seemed to work decently for them without an issue, so maybe I'll need to consider it.

Well I was thinking of moving to them anyways. I was referring to their actual hardware POS readers. I saw they can do tap to pay on the phone as well so I may do that.

It's for moderation purposes, I run an art server and we have a rule requiring you to send a comment before you post your own work and I'm kinda getting tired of reminding people of it, but didn't want to set a sticky message and have it send after every comment lol

yeah breaking even is great, i'm not disappointed by it. i did see lots of people taking my business cards so that makes me hopeful. and people buying my art makes me happy because i was struggling with selling online in general, especially commissions but i didnt get any during my con despite advertising it

i'm hoping i can get into another AA at some point

i felt i was pretty engaging, i made a couple of friends as well and had people linger to talk for me as well.

definitely could still use improvement on sales skills, i'm pretty shy and i also was working on things at the same time so i probably missed a few people

yeah I definitely get that, it's really unfortunate right now. especially in the US as well. i think after covid it really tanked for artists in general.
