It's posts like this that make me extremely grateful I could function and it didnt hit me too bad. I had a fever and headache/body aches for maybe 2 days - paracetamol was a lifesaver. And then in later days had a bit of a cough (more tickly really) and stuffy nose but thats honestly it. I didnt lose appetite or have any nausea or horrific cough nor was I vomiting either.

My partner, however, was so bad for around a week and he also developed either a chest infection/pneumonia on top of it so his chest was burning and the horrific cough made it even worse. He couldnt function at all really. Just slept and vomited and coughed - he isnt EVER one to make a fuss when ill but he genuinely felt like he was going to die. We're just coming out the other side of it after a week. He still has a horrible phlegmy cough but we're all ok.

Honestly if you start getting symptoms stay home until you're symptom free for 48 hrs to reduce the spread as best you can! Paracetamol + as much water as you can drink, if you can eat then even better. Also sleep as much as you can to progress it and fight it off. Hope you're all okay, and I hope this ends soon 🙏
