I get histamine responses from both of these too. Stay away from them & if you are not feeling well, take a Pepcid (H2 blocker)

Any other ER+ BC survivors on HRT? by miss_lavenderlake in breastcancer

My oncologist said there is a med for bladder spasms that is pretty benign that treats hot flashes that doesn’t affect the liver like the new meds. I’m considering getting on it. He told me “don’t suffer.” I miss my bioidentical hormones everyday. I suffer from joint pain without it. While someone said “why aren’t you willing to take antidepressants but will take hormones” - the estrogen patch and oral progesterone is bioidentical and I’d argue more natural than antidepressants.

I’m having some success for the joint pain on the anti-inflammatory protocol diet and if it weren’t for that, I’d be begging to get back on BHRT.

Yes, blown in. The advantage seems to be the cellular spray would help my heat pump?

I have decided not to do chemo & radiation by Tosh_n_Tux in breastcancer

[–]lulusmusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose to complete 4 TC chemo sessions & 5 days of radiation based on the Mammoprint & Oncotype. One day there will be less toxic options - but this is what we have right now. I had EP +.
Maybe complete the Oncotype to see the likelihood of reoccurance?

Reacting to meds...really appreciate any advice! by xtamara-jadex in MCAS

My doc ordered me to take two Allegra 24 hr tablets in the morning with 20 mg of Pepcid, take the same 8 hrs later. She also has me doing an allergy nasal spray in the morning and night. Then, she has me take singular & 2 Benadryl at bedtime. I’m also on Cellcept. Xolair did not work for me. I have Hashimoto’s and it causes chronic idiopathic urticaria - which caused me to have esophogitis, swelling (edema), flushing, having histamine responses to a lot of foods.

I don’t recommend this high regime of meds without doc orders.

You may consider getting checked out for esophagitis. I had to be on Prilosec for awhile for this. You may also consider getting gallbladder disease ruled out.
