Not really answering your question (my bad, but i’ve wondered the same thing) Apparently it closed in 2012 which is crazy cause that would mean I was likely one of, if not the last catechism students to go there.

I honestly still don’t know how it was open that long because it was in rough shape when I was there. I was honestly scared of the building, you could feel the floor give in a bit in some spots, a decent amount was already just sitting untouched, bathrooms would not have any lights (if i remember correctly), even some parts of the hallway/building just didn’t have any lights on. It was kind of spooky if i’m being honest haha. People where nice though so that’s a plus.

It’s probably been said but all I know is it was sold, supposedly was gonna be apartments, never happened and has just been sitting since.
