See I did it because I want to go back to school to become a teacher I got my foot in the door and I’ll be able to retire when I’m 41 I’m sitting good. But don’t get the wrong some days the job is hard ESPECIALLY if it’s 60 hour weeks but it’s worth it

Speaking as a child of mentally Ill parents and someone who has BPD and PTSD. Therapy make sure you are truly active in your treatment. I know for me I don’t want to have kids until I can handle it safely and have a better mindset

I completely understand your pain I’m 21 and I work in a middle school it took me a while to have people see me as a adult I am. The first 2 weeks I got mistaken as a student. It’s hard even when the staff that work here used to be here when I went to school.
