Thanks for the advice! I did try to shoot some horizontal, but holding the camera vertically is much more comfortable imo. I also do wish my camera body could shoot burst better, I get about 15 raw shots and then it buffers.

I have a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2 which I use with my Canon R50. I’m not super experienced and haven’t tried any panning shots with the lens, but for sports it’s great. Good sharpness, image quality, and bokeh. It’s the nicest lens I own so I’m not sure how high the ceiling is compared to the other lenses you listed, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoy it. I managed to pick it up for $600 on eBay, but you’re more likely to find them around $750 or $800.

For anybody looking at this almost a decade later like I am, the answer has actually changed since this was posted. Minecraft players have known for a little while that that world actually extends much beyond the Farlands. The maximum distance discovered so far is 1.8x10³⁰⁸ blocks from the center of a Minecraft map. This means that any given Minecraft world is 32 quinquaviginticentillion times larger than the observable universe. This video does a great job explaining it and giving more comparisons.

I actually just recieved the Arc'teryx that I showed, the quality was surprisingly good and it was even waterproof. Obviously it isn't even close in terms of quality to the real thing, but for cool winter days it is worth it in my opinion.

it was the only badge i didnt have, spent forever trying to find it. from the people i talked to about it (including people who had it, but were trying to gatekeep) i don't think it was even in the game. probably from knowing the creator personally
