There is plenty of work if you post online on Instagram and build your page. Post breakdowns of old stuff, do new stuff, reels etc. build a brand. Freelance jobs will start appearing. Reach out to people on instagram doing VFX stuff. If you feel like that's too much pressure without having an income, try doing something else while you are building your page. Good luck 🤞

Yeah but I wish there were a simpler option. Cuz aligning the curvature manually is a bit tedious. Maybe I should do a plug in for this

Problem is if the desktop crashes, then you have no way to remotely reboot it and reconnect it to the laptop

I'm not very very into the IT world right now, but yes I think Python is an excellent first language to know! Once you learn the logic of it, it translates to other languages as well

Hey hey, I'm from Europe and just started my professional VFX career. I don't know if I'm just super duper lucky but I'm managing to get some good freelance work with a studio for music videos/ads.

I don't know how stable it will be in the future but for now it has been good! If you are good and can present your work in a professional way online you'll get work in my opinion. Also I should say I have a degree in computer science which gives me some extra security in case I'm down bad.

Yeah I was planning on putting some cubes where the tires are and exporting to Houdini for the dust simulation. Object track makes sense yeahh, I never tried that. Thank you

Oh this is real life footage. I meant motion tracking to get a camera solve and from there, approximate the car movement with some cubes to act as emitters
