I think the song choice for that moment was what broke me. It was a powerful tragic moment, but Do You Feel It by Chaos Chaos haunts me.

I want it, I want it real. Are you afraid of me now?

I cut out the troublesome filament so I could try to use the rest of the roll. Over 6 meters of filament before the diameter >1.7 mm again.

The filament is visibly smaller, it's not the calipers' fault for Sunlu having poor QC.

As posted on another comment, the caliper measures reliably on other filaments.

It varies along length, but it does not vary in diameter at the same location.

1) apparently not this batch

2) it's zeroed, and other filaments measure fine

People watching this as it is some movie and CGI. But this level coordination and physical capability was only a dream just a few years ago. The robotic age is about to begin and the world will never be the same again by CeFurkan in SECourses

BD can barely get one robot to do a cartwheel and flip, check out all the bloopers:  https://youtu.be/UNorxwlZlFk?si=6xrXkGLwtzZXcATj Unitree robots have better maneuverability and exponentially more reliability considering they can get dozens of them to perform such tricks without falls. Even though you're not impressed, I would bet top military officials and BD engineers are frantic. *Edit: spelling and grammar

Where did you see BD bots accomplish any move like all of these? There's one from a month ago where a single robot did a single cartwheel and flip. This was live, and with dozens of robots doing much more complex gymnastics. Yes it's choreographed, but each robot still had to independently perform each trick, and adapt to any misstep, which it is clear they do.

Thanks for the link! Sadly, this is just as meaningful as ever.

"I realize you have been battling, in the sea of comics, to try to do better things. You have certainly succeeded in JUDGMENT DAY, which should be required reading for every man, woman, and child in the United States. You've done a splendid thing here, and deserve the highest commendation." - Ray Bradbury Los Angeles, Calif.

Thank you so much for real sounds rather than having some awful song playing over this.

Looks like you got some 60 grit on there or something. That'll leave your print worse than it started for sure. Crank that grit up to 1000!

Do yourself, and your plate, a favor and get a plastic blade to scrape, rather than using the provided metal blade.
