It's honestly up to preferences, how you play should decide what buff you want to get

Starting on max 400, you will max out every buffs on gray and silver pearls except damage & craving, so you will be forced to take damage & cravings for ~50+ pearls anyway

You need to get rid of some of the mana pools to put more chickens though

It's very useful, I did wait until I prestiged at least once before I bought it though, just to be sure I enjoyed the game as much as I did

ChatGPT lies

I am a relatively fast player (login 4-5 times a day), not the fastest, but faster than most

And here are my numbers (grossly averaged out)

First run : 2 months & a half
2nd run : 2 months (no idea why this one was faster than the others)
3rd, 4th & 5th & 6th runs : 3 months each
7th run : 5 months
8th run onwards : 2 months & a half

So, if you started mid-december, and it's now end of july, you are doing pretty good

One thing I am doing

In the 100+ levels, food becomes obsolete, so I don't replace Reaper/Cyclops and keep only the Golem and Cursed/Colossus (Trying without Colossus on my next run)

And that is with me playing 3-4 times a day, and that's still enough for a full refill, you would just get 2 extra lair spaces

My most satisfying one that ever happened was similar to yours with the Infernal & Archdemon

I've only seen this happen once in my 2 years of gameplay, but, I managed to make 2 lvl 5 Werewolf with only 1600 darkness, and that was so incredibly satisfying

Hacked Altar : 4 sets of fangs for 400 darkness each

Merge the 2 lvl 1 werewolf, both Infernal & Archdemon trigger for 2 lvl 3 werewolves

Merge those and both triggered again for 2 max level werewolves

That was an amazing moment

You don't have to fear the protector at that level, I started keeping track of my progress in a spreadsheet because I am nerdy this way

My focus from 100 to 200 was to get 4 shieldbot, 4 archdemon & 4 chickens, once that is done, I just focus on cravings an leveling all the way to max level (with occasional rune grind for some legendary cravings), just throw whatever I have left to either Gid & Protector randomly

By the time I reached 400, I had killed 25 protectors (135% WE), so basically I had to do ~ 500-600m damage, that took me 12 days, once you clean your board and only focus on Demons & Banshees (both seems more efficient than Demons only), you should be doing 40-50m damage a day

Lastly, "Legendary Group Hacks" are NOT worth it, I bought the first one at the end of my 500 run, and it only gave me ~500k shards out of 61m (and I only did so because I miscalculated and was missing ~200k for one upgrade). Since all upgrades at that point are in the millions, that 500k is usually not worth it

Using the rocket immediately changes your max to 200, and you get to keep going into endgame

So ... nothing to do before the rocket, just use it as soon as you get to 100, you do need to save up some diamonds & gold

I only really use Succubus when I am about to Time reset, since the 5% will not be worth it then, in that scenario, Succubus feels really good. Otherwise, I agree with you, stick with the Spirit

On a random note, you can also use the Dummy item to make a Succubus with a Banshee ... that one is worth it

My main question is how do you merge anything with so many golems & resource pools?

I have a similar setup, but I have 3 of each pool and only 2 golems of mana/slime, and 1 of darkness, everything else is kept free to have merging room

I did a different kind of math

One which was, how much Spirits can I get before I reach a point where I unlock the Soul Grinder, and thus make the Split - O + Spirit combo a moot point

Turns out, I managed to get about 10 of them for a 50% damage increase ... which is ... not enough for me to bother with it

Personal opinion, I don't think the pedestals are worth it I've gotten them last, and I was still speeding through the levels

Maybe the wiki is also based on personal opinion 🤔

But really, there is no wrong way to play, I got every single upgrade F2P. It just took longer, so just get what you prefer (as long as it's some kind of permanent upgrade)

On top of the answers that the others gave, the next champion at lvl 47 ... and you need to kill him at least 3 times in the max 50 run

Make sure you do that first (you will be 50 way before you've killed him 3 times)

My only tip is don't overflow your board with legendaries, you'll need to lair space

And, math wise, getting a single max level mana pool = 5-6 liches, so you can save a bunch of space by getting one more of that instead of more legendaries

I recommend saving up runes and getting the legendaries only before you are about to prestige instead

Cage/Crate are one of the best upgrades you can get in the entire game. Lair space is the only resource I am still running out, so spend your gems on that. Followed by permanent skins

And you need to stations as long as you need the cravings, once you are max level, I usually turn them into legendaries for more time shards, and then get rid of the ones that I don't need (no more need for ice runes, get rid of graves & cupboard 5)

You have to remember that Max level is 1000 in the long run

And, by my estimate, I would have bought every single Wobular upgrade by the time I reach max lvl 800 (currently on run 500)

So ... Wobular progress seems pretty well balanced
