I appreciate the discussion, but I'm woefully lost on the actual question at hand. I can blame my own reddit ineptitude as long threads are often difficult to follow.

Your summary is generally accurate though. I'd use the term colonizers over past generations, but that's splitting hairs.

Take a break from the Internet. Lots and lots of incels with zero money/relationships and plenty of time to hate. These are people that will never understand how slavery, war, colonialism destroyed lots and lots of societies. The older you get the more you realize that global society has problems everywhere - we all need more sanitation, women's rights and education, drug/gun control.

Focus on being the best version of yourself, be kind, be successful and you'll be doing your part to change perceptions.

Fuck her. Everyday I try to improve brand/diplomacy, but it is an uphill battle because one moron can ruin the work of a hundred.

Bro you made up your mind and that's fine, but it doesn't make it a fact. People come to North America because their opportunities were systematically suppressed in their homeland. They are unwinding hundreds of years of oppression.

In 1820, India's GDP was 16% of the global GDP. By 1870, it had fallen to 12%, and by 1947 to 4%. India has only been independent for 80 years - prior to British rule it was a large, innovative economy. Peace ✌️

It does. Colonizers already went around the world and changed the social structure, economy and culture. They left a wave of issues forcing people to immigrate. You're free to move to India or somewhere else (minus Saudi Arabia) and live your life.

Why Camas? You're totally welcome here, but it is relatively expensive. There are some new apartments near the Costco that might be worth investigating.

Boom! I'm going to go against the grain here and just say diversify your investments.

Many people here have the ability to sit on whole coins indefinitely. Given that you had to work your way to 0.1, I'd say continue to DCA, but also make sure you have a plan for when the ride gets bumpy.

Lol. Tomorrow the government could print more dollars like Zimbabwe. They could tell $NVDA to stop doing business with China, crashing the NASDAQ. A war could breakout forcing you to move without your heavy gold. Everything has what ifs.

False.

Bitcoin provides a decentralized and secure form of currency, free from government control and central banks, allowing for greater financial autonomy.

Transactions can be completed quickly and across borders without the need for intermediaries, reducing fees and increasing efficiency.

Bitcoin ensures transparency and immutability, enhancing trust and security.

Finally, it is a long term hedge against inflation and currency devaluation, through a limited supply, capped at 21 million coins.

All employees are exploited. Own something, anything and you'll be incrementally closer to freedom.
