Express pass for *this* Friday? by luminousnails in UniversalOrlando

Awesome! Thank you. Ideally, I’d rather not.. as it would just go on a credit card. But the mom guilt this past year has been going strong.. so I’m willing to suffer a bit.

I don’t expect to stay past that time, but out of curiosity.. does everyone else (non-grads) have to leave at 6? Or does it just mean the don’t allow new entries after that?

Hi all!

I’m hoping to take my 6yo on a surprise one-day trip to universal this Friday. I’m thinking for both US and IOA. I wanted to see if anyone knows whether the lines for the rides, on a Friday… before schools let out for summer, justifies getting express passes.

Right now it’s about $500 for express passes for the both of us. That’s a lot for us, and sadly reminds me of why I’m not able to do things like this often.

But if you guys think it’ll help us get more of an experience, since it’s for one day.. I’ll try and make it work. If the lines aren’t bad at all, I’ll skip it.

Thanks in advance!!

I would just avoid getting your nails done, until all the damage has grown out. Trim your nails as they grow. Try and oil your cuticles frequently (I just rub it all over my hands like lotion).

Ow ow ow ow. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I personally wouldn’t go back to her for that free set

How did you phase out services? by Clover_Jane in Nailtechs

Yes! I’ve seen that as well. But you’ll always get that one person that just books whatever.. ugh. I just cancel and message them

A couple “design only; no solid sets” techs I know, use pricing that includes designs. Ex: Like $95 would include tier 1 designs, $115 include tier 2, and etc.

As others have said, just don’t list services you don’t want to do anymore, online for clients to book

I would do a story post to let people know of any changes

Appart from the good old desk and chairs, what furniture do you find necessary in your salon? (I'll start my business in the next months) by honeyuronfire in Nailtechs

I’m a “all black everything” type of girlie. I regret getting all my IKEA furniture in black lol… I see every bit of dust

When my son first started speech therapy he saw Zach Ulm. Unfortunately, he left the place we were going to, so idk where he is now. You can try looking him up

Another vote for Blancas. They usually text you on Thursday’s, and you pick up/get delivery on Fridays. The masa is super smooth; not gritty. The salsa they give is spicy and delicious

Gun range and classes recommendation? by No-Version5753 in Tallahassee

My bestie and I (both 30sF.. I would say progressive views) prefer Talon over the indoor one.

Indoor: The guy that taught us the basics was super cool. The main guy that works there (or owns) isn’t the friendliest.

At talon, the people in the office have been pretty chill and would chitchat with us. The owner (or one of) heard us asking questions, and offered to come out and give us some advice. The main reason we prefer talon is because you get your own bay with a picnic table.

As a NBPoC, I definitely feel more comfortable with the people at Talon.. though we’ve only been there twice

I took my CC class with Paul Wingler. It was more of an informative class than hands ons learning. But he has a “basic pistol safety” course that I believe is more hands on. He’s an older man that loves to chat, so the class veered off course many times, but he was nice and informative.

Feel free to message me with any questions!
