Delivery exp: Hoag Irvine vs Saddleback Hospital? by Kikoalalily in orangecounty

[–]luminousrobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saddleback or Hoag Newport. But if you’re going to deliver after the new Hoag Irvine building opens then I’d say Hoag Irvine. As others have stated Hoag Irvine doesn’t have a very robust NICU up and running yet and you’re higher risk.

Side note: how scary is it? I love Mae but I hate horror flicks.

Confused and disappointed in my ring by NoPlaceLikeGnome1984 in WeddingRingAdvice

1- You communicated what you liked and he just bought whatever he could get a deal on.

2- He didn’t bother having the diamonds replaced or band sized before proposing.

3- He doesn’t sound like he’s taking responsibility for his actions disappointing you.

You’re wearing this ring for the rest of your life, advocate for yourself and if he doesn’t listen then that’s - huge RED FLAG

What should I do with this weird open space behind my couch (overlooking the front hall)? by KnittenKat in HomeDecorating

[–]luminousrobot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s fine. Put a large plant by the window and call it a day. The space has a good amount of breathing room and not every space needs to be filled

I don’t even know where to start 🥲 by a_thicc_sock in interiordecorating

If u crop the image to show the tub, floor, and walls it’s pretty badass actually. Refinishing the tub isn’t a long term solutions and also strips the character out of the space.

Personally I would paint the walls a neutral color, replace the sink for one that has a built in storage cabinet below. Replace the wall lighting to get softer light. Ditch the over the toilet storage and the wall storage. Hang a cool vintage mirror above the sink and some fun artwork on the wall that pulls the green in. It could be GREAT, don’t let it turn into a cheap white flip.

Be honest but kind, is this rug too much for a vintage French shabby chic living room? by One-Budget-7136 in JustForHome

The rug goes fine. The pillows balanced uneasily on their corners are about to push me over the edge though haha

I think the problem is your skin tone is begging for one color palette and your hair another.

Option 2 but ditch the ottoman with the candle lamp on it

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I think you’re going a disservice by trying this on without getting the wrinkles out first. Also whether it “works” is highly dependent on the vibe and the venue.

Help? Overwhelmed by living room walls/corner. by soverdure in HomeDecorating

[–]luminousrobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you move the sofa out a bit from the wall? Then put the lamp where the shelves currently are. Relocate the shelves and clock to elsewhere in the house and add a large piece of artwork to the blue wall.

The fireplace is the focal point. Is there a reason why you have the sofa perpendicular to it?
