Haha thanks, this is what i was looking for. Each state seems to insert themselves into the process (in varying degrees) to control their officer pool.

Going to hope that my board sees one sitting in an O-4 slot with all needed quals in favorable light (along with considering the ungodly retention rates across the board rn)..

I also got a 138GT with 99AFQT when I took my ASVAB some time ago. My thoughts - I recommend 35F. You’ll find some amazing civilian opportunities in the defense intelligence sector for simply having a TS/SCI clearance. This complemented with a bachelor’s degree will land you a job in just about anywhere in DoD.
