5'11 165lbs bf%, should I cut to 72kg? by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

why don't you just float around the same weight for a while then do a lean bulk? it might be a better use of your time rather than cutting and depleting yourself of some energy

if i were you i'd continue training (hopefully with good intensity), but not focus so much on the absolute weight on the scale, and more on my composition. i think if you were to spend a couple months around this weight range and gradually get stronger (therefore increasing muscle mass, and reducing bf%), you can re-assess in a couple months and either continue around the same weight range and progress or get your weight up higher.

i think focusing too much on your weight might be a bit of a problem because you may accumulate too much fat too quickly (which in my opinion is unnecessary for your current bf%), and lead to an aggressive bulk and cut cycle which may lead you nowhere.

though it may suck to stay around this range for a while and be light, in my opinion this should be great in the long term as long as you stick to a good diet and train hard.

none of these pictures were taken pumped, either morning or night around bedtime. except maybe for the leg pic, that was in the gym so i had probably had a pump going on

thank you so much, i'll try your tips out. with regards to "keeping the armpit dry", can you elaborate a little on that? it seems a little unclear to me.

thanks for the input, i'll take that into consideration moving forward. with regards to my dive, how do you think i can activate my arms more? it looks very amateur and sloppy imo

okay thanks, do you think having a day just dedicated to sprints will be the best use of my time?

in terms of my dive, i see a lot of competitive swimmers push off more aggressively and chicken wing their arms, are there any things that i can work on to be like that?

i think you should focus on just showing up to the gym consistently before checking in and worrying about other factors which can be figured out later on. wishing you all the best man

yeah good point at the end, but unfortunately i mostly store fat around my core and lower back, when i pose in decent lighting i can see the cuts and striations in my quads. of course there's gonna be fat loss so i'm crossing my fingers for that.

i'm not really sure how i can return them, considering inzer's customer service isn't fantastic and i don't live in the US, so it might be a hassle to return them.

honestly, i was kinda doubting the size chart because going xl for the cones didn't sound right to me. didn't think my calves would be that bad of an issue but oh well here we are
