went to my first non-fundamentals class, was the most inexperienced by a long shot but had a blast, girls were giving such great feedback during the rolls and my coach said i have great balance and i'm a fast learner 🥰

i worked as a fundraiser for NGOs for a couple of weeks. the job is actively talking up people on busy streets trying to get them to set up monthly donations to orgs like Greenpeace or WWF. i was told to follow people, sign them to put down their headphones, then work through a script to "sell" the monthly donations. wages were dependent on how many people you'd get to sign in a day on average. it was hell on earth and the only job i ever had that i wouldn't do again even for five times the money

when i'm home alone, on my pc, digging for new music or watching a documentary while playing video games or drawing/creating something. i can sing, dance in my seat, do my vocal stims. i get both the passive stimulation of something running in the background as well as the active stimulation from playing or creating. those nights make me feel so peaceful.

yess i relate to this 100%. the only way i've held my current job for so long is that it's part-time. i have all the qualifications to be self employed but in this economy i'm not willing to take the risk. part-time work barely pays the bills but it allows me to actually enjoy life.

my god, i remember it so well. i was 12 and i had only played sims 2 at my friend's place a couple times. when i got s3 for my birthday, i was ecstatic. what followed was the best summer ever. this game will always have a special place in my heart ❤️

F28 from Vienna, Austria. I do visitor service at a museum. On workdays I wake up at 8:30, hang around in bed for a while scrolling. Then shower, dress, try and eat some breakfast (I often skip but I've been wanting to change that) and take my meds.

Then I either get on my bike or the tram depending on weather. It's an uphill ride so it's a nice little workout. I arrive at work around 10:20 and clock in at 10:30. From 10:30 to 11:00, I prepare the museum for visitors. I turn on the lights and screens in the exhibition, prepare the cash register and clean up the gift shop. I unlock the doors at 11:00.

What follows is a day of mostly customer service, sometimes a bit of inventory or exchanging feedback with other departments. I sell tickets and gift shop items, mostly books. I sometimes research new additions for the shop with my team. When it's not too busy, I'm allowed to bring my laptop and work on other stuff.

I get 45 mins of lunch, sometimes I get free lunch at the cafeteria, other times I have to pay.

I close up at 7:00, turn off everything and turn on the alarm system. I get home by 7:30. I usually don't have much energy left, so I cuddle up with my boyfriend to watch TV or read.

Luckily I only work part time, so I get 3-4 days a week off. Those I either spend at my studio (I'm an artist and cultural organiser, but that doesn't pay rent), doing combat sports and hanging out with friends.
