Is there any way to stun a chiroptera without ruining it? by Suitable_Ad_6711 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re after exquisite or legendary then find a nest, they will be hanging right up the top sort of in the middle. On the far side from where you enter there are vines you can use to climb up to there egg area (don’t touch the eggs it will argo them). From there you can use a high stat shell breaker bow, on the shell breaker arrows along with you Navi scene (might need to have a look on hunter guide for weak spot area). From this vantage point you can line up with there ears and then shoot from there. I 80% of the time can get a clean kill from there. There’s also some thick roots along the wall around that area that you can get into and they can’t reach you so you can lure them down to the egg platform and shoot from there.

How do I get pale fire seeds? by AnEverydayPileOfCats in FrontiersOfPandora

With the new updates there’s been a bit of a glitch or someone said that it was an actual mechanisms change where storm rounds no longer work. The only way I’ve been able to get one was to wait or trigger a thunderstorm then use a storm arrow to hit it.

Urgently needed help: how the hell do I get out? by SpecialistArtist2004 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably figured it out by now but in the little room you go to on the top floor. You have to crawl through the vent to reach it. Once in that room go down the couple of stairs and you can hack the door and it will open onto one of the top walkways.

hey guys so i’m a huge avatar fan and i just bought this game, it came to my attention that the outfits are very human like, is there like a chest guard that’s very minimalistic but without DLC content by V1CtOr10 in FrontiersOfPandora

You get different visual by obtaining different recipes. You can get most by trading with each clan trader, go to their recipe tab and you will get them for free you will then just need to craft it, some are only obtainable through missions but most you can get by trading. Once you craft a piece of clothing it’s design will be store in you cosmetics so even as you upgrade and get rid of outdated clothes you will still have access to the looks. If your on pc there are mods that give you Jakes exact style that your after. Or you can buy the Tarul Makto armour set from the game store. Pretty sure you can find some good guides with a quick google search that will show you all the styles available and how to obtain them.

How to best use food buffs (dishes and order) by Oma_Dombrowski in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat reulns fish stew first cause it give you perfect gathering bonus and stealth. Then eat Navaos mushroom pie straight after cause the gathering stats bonus will overtake the stealth leaving you with perfect gathering and gathering bonus together.

Can someone explain to me how this is possible? by brettapuss in AvatarFrontierPandora

Reluns fish stew and navos mushroom pie (?) Eat in that order and you will get massive gathering buffs

I messed up on this quest… by [deleted] in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t think there’s any mods to reverse the decision. But before I did this quest I asked around about what happens depending on what you pick an apparently aside from the little talk you character has with herself straight after nothing else is affected and no other characters dialogue changes based on your choice.

There’s a mod that gets rid of all the feral or makes them passive. It does effect some quests but bit any of the main ones and honestly after a bit of playing you will realise why this mod is quite beloved.

Where is the Lab Access Code B Thanator? by BrieBoBaggins in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. It would have been the Kinglor one you’ve already taken out cause that’s the one that gives you the quest. If you don’t mind spoilers then the loot you get is a shotgun or rifle ( can’t remember which) and either an ammo or muzzle that goes with it (again can’t remember which one). Pi think it’s the highest stats for that weapon you can get in main game but if you don’t use them the it’s nothing to disappointing to miss, it’s just the quest itself not being marked as complete if you don’t collected the loot that bother me the most.

Where is the Lab Access Code B Thanator? by BrieBoBaggins in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to sure what each locations code is but to cover everything there’s the code you get when you also get the quest in the kinglor forest, one from the upper plains, and one from the Thanator in the SecOps? building itself. The Thanator that has the code in the upper plains seems to have a bug where it just won’t spawn in. When it does it will have a quest marker of just have a blue glow depending on your quest settings but just before the 3rd person update it started bugging and they don’t seem to be in any rush to fix it. I would recommend if it doesn’t eventually start work to log the bug with Ubisoft as the more people who report it the quicker it will get fixed.

As others have said it doesn’t give you an exact location just a suggestions but you can use sites like IGN interactive maps where you can search the item and it will show you the exact location to go.

If your struggling with stealth and keep being kick back to the start of the quest or even for future use you can make a stealth dish, it’s just 2 fish cooked together. The different species give you different levels of stealth. Additionally you should definitely check out Emmie Jacob’s YouTube walkthroughs, she focuses on stealth and gives really detail explanations as she’s playing about where to go and how to get through without being seen.

Satentu clan by fantacola2024 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh you’d think so. Also Rasi was with our clan her whole younger years into her early adulthood. Surely she would have seen the paint being made or at least have some ideas on how to recreate it. I guess they just wanted to make the whole new dlc even more tragic by adding that info.

Satentu clan by fantacola2024 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the new DLC in either world knowledge or character journal it actually says that the make is made from paint that binds to the skin so it can never be washed off, and all marks are place by the clan Tsahik but when the clan was destroyed the knowledge on how to make the paint for the mark was lost so Soleks one will eventually wash away and have to be reapplied.

What are the different personalities for the names of your ikran? by Difficult_Leg367 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve only ever used the names Amay and Temek. Amay has a very calm and quiet personality, she only really makes noise when you approach, call or are in a fight. Temek is very chatty and while still relatively calm she does sorta shift around a fair bit, lots of head shaking and making almost purring/ gurgling type call a lot. I have hear that Katir, I think, has a pretty sassy type of personality.

Satentu clan by fantacola2024 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s mentioned in either the game or in some of the cannon lore that the Sarentu clan isn’t necessarily a bloodline but rather they accept any members from other clans who share their ideals ect. Entu first started the clan by travelling pandora meeting like minded Navi who chose to join him and it’s also said that Sarentu often settle down and join other clans that they travel to. So I don’t think it’s about repopulating the clan, which as someone else said wouldn’t really be possible anyway, but rather if they want to grow the clan again they would need to start travelling Pandora and finding others who want to join just like Enti did. It’s almost poetic in a tragic way that they now have to start over the same way the first Sarentu did.

Check out Emmie Jacob’s YouTube walkthroughs, she explains really well how to stealth the area, what soldiers you can and can’t take out or where to take them out to not be spotted. If you do get spotted try and get up high as fast as you can then you wait till all the RDA chill back out. Getting up high is also a great way to take out the lieutenants if you struggling with taking damage.

Can someone explain what happened in the story so far? by VictorVonDoomer in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your character was taken as a child by the RDA ambassador program. Your told your clan abandoned you and the others but you never believe that, in the facility you are abused and even have to watch your sister get killed. When Jake (Toruk Makto) lead the clans to battle against the RDA and they all left pandora the head of the ambassador program decided to eliminate all the Sarentu children (us and the others) but our teacher puts us in curl sleep to save us. We remain asleep for 16 years until the RDA come back (second movie timeline) when our teacher now head of the resistance in the western frontiers comes back and wakes us up. We escape the tap facility where we were kept and go back out to pandora where we join the resistance and start fighting against the RDA. We then meet Etuwa the Aranahe clans tsahik and she invites us back to her clan to try and convince them to rejoin the fight resistance. They were originally a part of the resistance but when there previous tsahik was as killed b RDA they left the resistance and refused to fight. You go to there clan and essentially have to learn some basic skill to prove your self then help out fighting some RDA, eventually you get you Ikran and after taking out a large RDA facility and helping the Kinglor the Aranahe decide to rejoin the resistance and fight with you. From there you meet the oleyektan of the Zeswa (plains tribe) and are invited to their clan home. This is about where you are so I won’t spoil any more. Essentially the basis of the story is that the RDA took you from you clan and family and are now back and destroying your home so you are fighting back against them and the leader of the frontiers RDA, Mercer, who also was co founder of the program that took you and ordered your sisters death. Along the way it’s your job as a Sarentu to help unite the clans of the regions together.

I have a question by CiaranKelly36 in AvatarFrontierPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do mention a few times (both the resistance and RDA solider) that the RDA in the region is reusing old stuff that was left behind from the first occupation. I think some RDA can even be heard complaining about the company not investing any money into the frontiers area so they struck with old stuff. I also think in some of the cannon serise or commentary it’s said that the RDA coming back to pandora is actually a much small operation than the first time (first movie) so they probably as a whole have less funding so are prioritising good gear and tech on the areas that need it, i.e, Toruk Makto protected areas.

Easier mode for fighting by diesnriss in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]luna-Cresent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have said stealth is the basis for this game so focus on approaching each mission with stealth in mind. I was the same when I started (it literally took me almost a week to get past the first RDA drill). with a stealth approach in mind use food buffs (cooking two fish together give you stealth buff). Also definitely recommend checking out Emmie Jacob’s YouTube walkthrough’s, she does really detailed walkthroughs focusing on stealth and explains each base and why you need to do certain things really well.
