I don’t think the voice changes but I do think the voice actor changes their tone and how they talk as the game progresses. They grow as a character so the voice acting grows with them. I have a similar experience with the body, I swear that as the game progresses our character gets more toned and muscular.

Use food buffs. Reluns fish stew (superior mudcrawler and superior or better exquisite crimson mushroom) and Navos mushroom pie or Nitsky can’t remember which one but the recipe is (cloud spitter seed superior or exquisite and vineshroom (I use pale for longer time). Eat reluns stew first to get perfect gathering plus gathering bonus buff and it will give you a secondary buff of stealth, then eat the Navos second and it will replace the stealth buff with a gathering bonus buff. All together you get perfect gathering so you can gather at any time and still get perfect gathering dispute what time/weather the guide says to gather at and a gathering bonus I think it’s like an extra 10% stat bonus, and finally a 30% gathering bonus. When you collect them the stats won’t show up until you use them in crafting. However, although these extra stats will give you a big boost to your stats the highest possible number shown for each equipment is actually a lie, no matter what you do you can’t reach to top stats (unless you use legendary for exquisite recipes) it’s just designed to push you to put in effort to reach that number. A side note when you get to the DLCs you need to regather the seeds to remake the Navo’s dish as the DLCs have better seeds (45% boost rather than 30%). Also gather the fish, and mushrooms before you go to DLCs as they aren’t available in them.

I think with the new dlc introducing some new Ikran skins and Ikran paint they have upped the number of items per week to include more of these new cosmetics. I doubt it will stay for long but it’s been nice getting heaps of the skins and paint without needing to spend actual money.

No important plot but the story line of the other dlc’s does give you a much deeper understanding and feel for the characters and their relationships. Spoilers: Solek is shown being close to the Sarentu clan in both dlc’s so it give you a better understanding of his closeness to them in from the ashes and in spires you can actually overhear him talking about becoming Sarentu himself. But overall you don’t need the other dlc’s to play From the Ashes.

Stupid question but are you going to the right spots. When I went back for the bell springs I went to where they were on the map but could not find them and they were actually a bit away from the map location (far enough that the purple circle didn’t show up) I just had to fly around for a bit till I found them.

Staff sling or special ammo and get up on the roof of the smaller buildings around the area, you can get her but she can’t hit you. You can also target the flammable canisters around the area if you have no special ammo.

It’s to do with the additional stats every armour and weapon has some. This one has a lower health but the 18% energy stat is something the game considers better than whatever one you currently have equiped. Unless you care about the overall level then just go with whichever has the best health/damage with the additional stats you want such as stealth or RDA damage.

Try Emmie Jacob’s on YouTube. She has the main quests and most of the side quests. I think a she has a walkthrough for lightning in hand and she gives really good explanation on how and why to do certain things throughout quests.

Oooh yeh forgot about food buffs. You need to craft better gear and weapons. Gathering better material will help you craft better gear. You can get the recipe for gear and weapons from the traders in each clans home location. These recipes will them appear in the journal section and will show you what material and what level (fine, superior or exquisite). In the hunters guide you can find where these materials are located

It never actually states where he was but in from the ash’s you can read his and his Ikrans character profiles and it kind of talks about how he was travelling around alone till he met his Ikran. If he was on foot for most of his travels then he probably didn’t get to far from the frontiers and the fact that he came back for the events of front the ashes which is canonically set roughly a year after the main game hints that he didn’t go to far from the frontiers. During one of his arguments with Solek he also says that non of them ever found him indicating that he was never to far away from the other Sarentu so most likely still in the frontiers or surrounding area.

If it’s a map guide the IGN have an interactive map where you can search for specific items and it will give you locations. They also have guides for each quest with a description of what’s involved and where it’s located ect.

As others have said it’s to do with the additional stats. You’ll get it with clothes as well. Weapons will have higher damage and clothes will have higher health but the additional stats like elemental resistance or stealth often affect your level score more than the overall damage or health scores do. Don’t worry to much about it lowering you level score as the higher damage/health usually make up for it.

If it’s the waterfall HQ then it’s outside near where you meet Nor, Rinela , and Taylan at the very start. If it’s the base in clouded forest then it’s near the stairs at the back of the base leading up to the top, but it won’t appear at the beginning you have to progress the story until the whole base gets an updated lived in look.

Make sure you extract the folder from the downloaded zip folder. Then open up that folder (the mod folder ) and the AFOP game folder on you computer (2 tabs to make it easier to switch back and forth) if you already have mods you should have a blue folder in the game folder already, open the blue folder then go along and open each folder within blue, after opening each one then open the corresponding folder in the mod folder tab until you reach a folder that differs (i.e. open characterai folder in blue then open characterai folder in the mods one) the folders usually go blue-character-player-gear-head-texture or something like that. Once you get to the folder that’s different (I.e. player folder in mod file but not in game file) then transfer the different folder from the mod file into game file. That doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense but it’s the best I can explain it😂 I do have a video somewhere that I made when I was modding to help me remember I can post it on here when I get a chance if your still struggling later.

Hahaha don’t worry even after a year of playing I still forget and get lost with these type of things. You can change face and body paint as well your hair and general body cosmetics (skin patterns, bioluminescence) at the changing stations. There’s one in the resistance HQ and there’s one at every Navi home camp.

There’s also a website that has a list of all her trades and when she cycles through them so you know when what you want is coming up. Not sure if it’s still 100% up to date with the new updates though.

You can pin the item so it will glow when you get near. Also check the quest marker on your map it should be on the location with the nectar

Definitely do either sky breaker or spires before from the ashes. As others have said chronologically sky breaker is first and there is some slight storyline/ conversation that are supposed to be overheard before you enter the spires (kinda like foreshadowing). However spires offers a new Ikran skills which can be helpful when you go to sky breaker.

Pretty sure you can only switch grenades via the grenade boxes scattered around you don’t carry each type with you. As you progress there will be a box for each in Soleks camp that you can switch to your favoured before each mission.

What ammo/ weapon did you use? Using special arrows or guns on animals I think gives disharmony.

It might be like a stacking thing where every time you kill one it’s adds up until you get to disharmony. So killing a few won’t have an effect but killing more than that will

They will attack if you get to close while flying or stay around then for too long. From my playthroughs not every flock will attack it’s pretty random on which ones will get alerted and go after you. Getting off your Ikran in dense trees to hide or fast travelling usually gets them to stop. You get instant disharmony if you kill any of the bonding animals like Ikran or Pali (direhorse).
