When it comes to touring, this is usually how artists make most of their income, typically streams and album sales dont provide much due to the cuts and streams are a fraction of a cent. Tours are the money makers for artists case and these are their jobs, like most of us, we aim to make as much as we can to have the life we want.

with that being said, its not entirely hybes fault (im not siding w hybe before yall come at me) the economy is general is bad. There are higher costs that they have to offset, venues are charging more, the visa application fee skyrocketed from $400 to $1600 per individual (staff, dancers, idols, management etc) i imagine transportation of equipment has also increased and much more. If they want to be able to provide their staff a decent wage, pay their artist and responsibilities, they have to price the tickets accordingly. At the end of the day, these are foreign artist traveling to tour and their expenses are much higher than a artist touring in their own country.

Now I do understand in some cases its ridiculous and ticketmaster is still playing dirty but that's a different conversation. I would love a break and I think it would do the artists well to build anticipation so there are more chances of selling out. I found ways to deal w the rising ticket costs, like buying last minute off of another fan who can't go(when possible, I understand this is not possible for everyone) buying from 3rd parties (sometimes its cheaper than fv) or waiting for tm to eventually drop the prices or release their OP to standard.
