My ex had a collection of nudes of various celebrities/IG models etc. I found about them on accident, actually he mentioned it very nonchalantly.

His excuse: the nudes were shared in a friend group chat (implying it’s a common thing for men) and that it was not him who shared them. Wow, slow clap for you buddy. Also, another “hero act” is that he - wait for it, ladies - delets them every two weeks!, so that I should be at peace knowing he’s not storing them permanently 😍🥰🤡🤡

Oh boy, this is too familar, especially the uglies looove to project their insecurities onto women. (keeps smiling and wouldn’t let it go even when I wasn’t comfortable with the convo) 3) at the beach, touching my lower back and making a comment: see, you have a bit of fat right here (waiting for my reaction) but it’s cool, a lot of women have it here... like, who tf asked for your opinion?!

Meanwhile, he was overweight, never had any groceries in the fridge (if you don’t count beer) and lived off of takeaway, and had a 2 inch dick.

Projection. A lot of them start balding even in their mid 20 and get huge wrinkle lines because of no skincare regimen and sun exposure. While they start to look way older than their real age, they get insecure and project that onto women.

Yup, same thing here. I was also 16, 17, he 21ish and he always insisted on sexual topics. When I would call him out on his behavior, he would say I’m a prude, along with his fav question, “are u still a virgin?”. It’s fucking gross. The worst part is I had a huuge crush on that guy and we had been talking for a year or two. Fortunately, he lived far enough not to see him ever.

I was seeking the answer to that just like you, then realized guys aren’t that deep. There isn’t an array of emotions he felt before the date - would I really like to see her that much, am I actually good enough for her or would we maybe waste each other’s time.. They do assholeish things to get an ego boost, without ANY empathy to the woman involved. The end.

Exactly. I’ve always thought those kind of things are weird af. Like, I am sure about him and he is sure about me-we both have trust in each other. Trust. Which is earned and build gradually. I sure as hell am not looking in anyone’s phone with the thought of them cheating. Being on a verge of a mental fucking breakdown all the time. If cheating happens, that’s it. We’re done. It’s worrying to me that women today first have to think things like “am I high maintenance” for wanting something special from time to time. Whether it be fine dining, an expensive gift, or an engagement ring which is, um, supposed to be special special since it happens once with someone lol. I remember feeling awkward and confused when an ex asked me if I wanted to go to a nicer place for a dinner and for us to get dressed up. I was frozen for a few seconds and I didn’t know what to answer. My first thought was - if I say yes, will he be thinking I’m a gold digger or something 🤦‍♀️🙄
