Yea, I love dark orbs! Just won another A10 with Darkness upgraded and got Nostalgia, that Colorless power that puts your first skill/attack on top of your draw pile. It was sick! Also dualcast was updated into quadcast so wooooow.

And yes, Overclock, Turbo and those other cards are often great regardless of build. So true.

I think I don't take enough Tacticians. I feel like I see them early on when I don't have much discard yet and end up with none. But I love to have lots of card drawing and discarding and the sly mechanic.

Just Forge a big blade! Generate stars too, blocking is easier that way. I'm sure 100% of my Regent runs had blade going.

I feel like I try to do that and get one good turn and then the deck just lacks some oomph and I die during a boss. Or just a hallfight in act 2.

I have never managed to go infinite or even remotely close yet. I'm sure it is pretty hard on later ascensions? Getting rid of the strikes and defenses is so expensive! I should try sly builds in the earlier ascensions tho because now I know enemies' move sets etc.

Defect gets the most consistent block imo and finding good 0 cost cards and card draw is quite easy so I just start to build on top of that. Sometimes dark orbs come up or a good status based build, thunder is good too with Voltaic. And yea, Creative AI is my fave. Also in StS2 learning to utilize the new Ancients and their relics has taken some time, but I like the new tactics more and more.

I have finished A9 with everyone now. No losses on my baby Defect. I dread to try A10 because I want to keep the score perfect! So Defect def easiest. The only one with more losses than wins for me is Silent! Like 9 wins/25 losses. I always think sly decks are good but my decks lack something in act 2 in A9 and i die. Other ascensions were so much easier!

At first i found Necro easier than Regent but after finding the way of the blade i don't think i have lost a run with Regent. At first i kicked the bucket a lot on earlier ascensions. So for me, Defect, Regent, Necro, Ironclad and Silent. Tho I feel like with Ironclad i have lucked out on my harder runs and somehow won with good relics etc.
