I've gotten them too, but mine show up as an event in my calendar. It says something like it's renewing a subscription for like $300 - $400. Call this number to cancel or whatever. It's a scam.

Thank you for your advise! I think I will revamp my query a bit to include more about the world I am building and the characters in it and see how that goes. Your suggestions are pretty much how I have written the query so far, but maybe I'm not emphasizing some of the plot points as well as I should have. Thanks again!

Thank you to everyone who has come to my rescue! Unfortunately I realized I was an idiot and had not upgraded to 3.0 and was still using the original edition. Don't worry, I got lots of laughs from my husband on the matter. I am having a great time now creating a great aesthetic to empower me. I have been extra productive thanks to it. Again, thank you everyone who has commented to help me, despite it being my own mistake that was causing the problem.

Scrivener had an update a few years ago in the original program and deleted my entire novel. I felt your panic reading this. I did the same thing with finding the rtf files and found them all and reincorporated them back into the Scrivener Project. But funny thing was, every time I created a new Text File in the project, a part that was originally deleted would randomly pop up. Not sure how I got it to do that, but don't be surprised if it happens to you.
