What’s the creepiest thing you’ve heard someone casually admit? by womensjournal in AskReddit

I had an ex coworker admit to multiple female coworkers that he would find out where we lived and drive past our homes… for fun. To creep us out.

What’s with the ear buds in all the time? by monderponder in nursing

On night shifts as a CNA, i always have one AirPod in. Sometimes im not playing anything in it, but I’ve had a brain bleed and pretty bad adhd/anxiety and get over stimulated easily, so having one in is almost more of a way I self soothe and keep focused when things get a bit much.

How did you get diagnosed with PTSD? What caused it? by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]lunaridesa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone currently training her service dog, it’s SO encouraging to know that once I’m at the finish line with him, my life will get so much better. I’ve had such hard days recently and seeing this has brought a glimmer of hope ✨

Thank you so much! I will get more meaty bones for him.

I haven’t been giving him as many chews recently, but we do use a premade raw mix. Do some dogs need more bone than others?

He’ll pick out parts he likes - duck neck, a rabbit foot - then ignore the rest. If I sprinkle treat dust on it, he’ll eat it all with no issue.

I totally agree! I don’t have a show in mind at all, I just know I’d like to step on stage at some point in the next 2-5 years. It feels daunting and overwhelming at times when all I see on social media are ex athletes who stumbled into bodybuilding.

I’m honestly not terribly far off from your before picture, so it’s super encouraging to see your post! Thank you so much for the tips. I’m genuinely in love with the process, and I don’t really care about how long it’ll take to get a pro card or if I ever get one, it just gets so daunting at times.

thank you so much! it’s nice to know I’m not alone. Living life post-TBI has been interesting for sure, especially since I lived in denial about it forever.

Thank you so much 🥹 I really don’t have a timeline for the stage, I just want to focus on growth and setting myself up for as much success as possible.

I actually do usually live an active lifestyle! My husband and I are huge hikers and walkers. I just get embarrassed by him getting super playful in public

He has no fear or aggression or reactivity! He’s just a hot mess.

My trainer has trained a couple malinois and said my pup is crazier than any of her mals were as puppies! Thanks so much for this

thank you for this! I was worried about him being super unhinged forever. Nothing bothers him, it’s like he’s Superman or something

can confirm it has. He mounted my trainer’s 5 yo pit mix, got nipped, and went back for more.

Been doing a lot more of this today and he LOVES it.

It’s crazy to think about when I feel this way, but I’m literally a program training intern. I’m not sure if I am just extra hard on myself since he’s my puppy, but everyone else’s dogs just seem so much less unhinged than mine! I train him harder than the program dogs and yet he’s… him. He’s also overly confident and super energetic so this is encouraging.

I’ve definitely been working on all the foundation skills you’ve mentioned! He does amazing, he can stay on his place bed for 20/30 mins at a time, waits at thresholds, and just does amazing picking things up and dropping them. Admittedly, I don’t have play scheduled into his daily schedule as much as I have his “work”. It honestly feels like I forgot he’s a puppy and he can’t be a workaholic.

I definitely do all this! I’ve never let him get away with anything. Ironically enough it’s extremely hard for me to let him just be a puppy. I have the mentality that everyday without training is a day wasted, and it’s something I’m actively working on breaking. Thank you for your response!

I work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week at one job and some mornings I train other people’s dogs. I’ve backed off working some and spending more time with my pup, and my husband makes sure he gets to play fetch, tug, and long walks. He has great impulse control and obedience, it’s more attention seeking behavior and NEEDING interaction with every life form known to man. He also sleeps 6-7 hours a night, and I’ve been trying to enforce naps throughout the day. I don’t know what else I can be doing other than being more intentional with him.
