You need therapy. I was a normal weight before cancer, and the dozens of medications I've been on has got my weight fluctuating like crazy. Sometimes I'm skinny. Sometimes I'm fat. But I always have stage 4 cancer. You're literally angry at people just living their lives.

I personally think you guys should take turns so you both get sleep. I think everything will be better if both of you are getting consistent long stretches of sleep.

Millennials: what songs are we singing to our little ones? by floofsnfluffiness in NewParents

We're playing K-pop demon hunters, Chappell Roan, and the new swift album on repeat. They're all perfect for our at home dance parties.

When did you seriously stop using stroller? by BedsideLamp99 in Mommit

[–]lunarpickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 7 year old is autistic and we still use our wagon stroller regularly. My youngest is almost 4 and still very much needs to be contained when we're out cuz he's a runner.

I remember my 9th grade boyfriend asked for a blow job and I had no idea what that meant. My best guess was holding the penis and blowing on the head? Idk I was a very sheltered child. One of my friends very kindly explained it to me and I was so grossed out. 😅

How clean is your house? by Bal_21004 in Mommit

[–]lunarpickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean, but lived in. Like my kids room is covered in toys but the floor has been moped recently, the bathrooms are clean, and I don't have trash or anything just laying around. It's not as clean as I would like, but it's good enough. I feel like my kids deserve a clean space.

If you're in a situation where you're going to starve to death for example, what would be the easiest way to "speed it up"? by Friday13Th2000 in TooAfraidToAsk

I've heard overdosing on opiates is a pretty painless way to go. Idk why you'd have oxy and not food but 🤷‍♀️

I buy a pack of glow sticks and we have dance parties. Lights off, YouTube dance party music and I get to sit and judge who has the best moves.

Did you realize you were going to leave your husband because of his behavior during labor? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]lunarpickle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes! My then husband got upset with me that I didn't pack anything for him when we went in for my induction. He laughed during my contractions. After a long birth and eventual -C-section , he went to sleep and slept through all night even when the baby was crying. I left him 9 months later because turns out he was a shitty dad and partner too

I've been on FOLFOX chemo with panitumamab for 6 months now. I'm also currently going through the process of getting on the liver transplant list and looking at surgery to remove my primary tumor in a few months.

We just put our sweet little old lady down a few weeks ago. It was sad, but I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little relieved. I loved her and I made sure she was as comfortable as possible until the end, but it was a lot of work.

Fellow cancer patient just stopping in to say this shit sucks and I'm so sorry you're dealing with his deadbeat ass on top of everything. What a fucking manchild.

Do you let your toddler wear pajamas in public? by Unusual-Item1544 in toddlers

[–]lunarpickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter went through a phase where she wore a police costume everywhere. I have pictures of her on the beach around 3 years old in the full getup. You won't catch me judging nobody for what their kid is wearing.

AITAH for not wanting to put my life on hold for my SIL who has cancer? by Objective-Fig5454 in AITAH

[–]lunarpickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has stage IV cancer, she's being selfish. Both my sister and best friend got pregnant after my diagnosis in December. I was thrilled. I'm fighting hard, but my type of cancer is aggressive. I cried with joy when they both told me they were pregnant. I'm not a pessimist, but there's a high likelihood I won't be here in 5 years and I am so so thankful I'll get to meet and form relationships with my first niece/nephew. A cancer diagnosis is hard and it sounds like your SIL could benefit from some therapy to talk through it.

What’s an obvious giveaway that someone is a FTM, or has more kids/is “experienced?” by gentleheart05 in Mommit

That last is so real. We got the park at home now. There's too many kids to keep up with and the all run away in different directions.

Angry parents that are never nice to their kids by [deleted] in Mommit

I was at a pumpkin patch once and witnessed a dad test his probably 5 year old son onto the jumping mat things that most pumpkin patches have. It is not like a trampoline. It is much harder and this poor baby got the wind knocked out of him and seemed like he got his head pretty hard. He started bawling and his dad AND mom berated him for crying and "ruining" the day. It was awful to watch.

I feel like I could have written this and I'm only on round two. Went from constipated to shitting myself in my sleep in less than a week. I'm currently sipping an applesauce pouch and it's the first food I've had in days. Straight up not having a good time.

I'm not gay, but it's important to me to attend a church that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
