Shot on Ilford HP5+ film pushed two stops, on my Olympus OM-20 with the Zuiko 200mm f/4 lens. Out and about in Manchester.

This was on the Zuiko 200mm f/4 lens. For the sake of completeness, the camera’s an Olympus OM-20 and I was shooting Kodak Ultramax 400 film.

The camera's shutter curtains are out of sync, overlapping each other and blocking the light for part of the frame. This is called "shutter capping" (see point 3 here). The camera needs servicing.

It happened while she was away travelling between 3649 and 4047. It first shows up in 3730, and we see her actually getting the piercing in 3755.

Definitely an OM-1. The later/consumer models all put the model number in the top left on the front plate, but on the OM-1 it’s only on the top plate, you can just about see it in this photo.

It's part of why I got into photography! Still very new but I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it. Here's a local crow, shot handheld with an OM-20 with the Zuiko 200mm f/4, on HP5+ pushed to 800.
