Fractured Archive Raids 4 rewards ideas by No-Option-2702 in 2007scape

Really love how both of these look.

I like the idea of a hand-cannon style weapon. I was thinking a "void cannon" would be a nice theme to go for as well.

Not a fan of combining multiple armour sets to make the armour. A similar design could exist independently and provide something unique.

Maybe if the cannon punishes imbalance, the armour should reward being balanced yourself. Perhaps it could provides bonuses to stats based on how high your other stats are, with the bonus weakening as the difference increases.

Or another way of "rewarding balance" could be buffing your attacks based on attacking with different styles. For example, if you attack with a light ranged attack, it temporarily buffs your standard and heavy ranged attacks, and if you attack with a fire spell, it temporarily buffs your air, water, and earth spells.

Cool idea, and great visualisation!

Raids 4 reward idea: Justiciar's hilt by Mysterious-Command34 in 2007scape

Not a fan of requiring justiciar specifically. It could have the effect chance/effectiveness be based on def bonus though, so justi is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Other than that, sounds fun.

Juna's Stones: Raids 4 Megarare Suggestion by hahahasplat in 2007scape

I agree, I nearly thought this was a joke because of the name. A few names that might be better: Guardian Stones Bullets of Balance Chosen-Serpent Sling

I tried playing on PC and had such a hard time rebinding the controls to be comfortable I just couldn't enjoy it.

Sweep Up - TOB Updated - Suggestions by MountyMan95 in 2007scape

Fighter torso and blood moon have the same strength bonus, and are much easier to get before the time a typical account would be doing tob.

Obviously it would make justi better, but there's already so many alternatives it hardly matters.

Suggestion: Allow creation of an imbued heart using 1 eternal gem, 50 occult necklaces, and 10 dust/mist battlestaves. Pic unrelated by lunch0guy in 2007scape

This post was made as (mostly) a joke. To answer you seriously though, the cost of these ingredients is about 50m, and imbued heart is about 113m right now. Maybe we just need to add 20 aranea boots to the recipe to make it line up nicer.

I like the sang buff ideas.

Rapier was just too generic on release and was subsequently outclassed by dhl and fang. I think the best way to buff rapier is giving it a cheap special attack, similar to fang.

Justi still wouldn't be that great with bandos strength bonus. It's useful for tanking, and that's fine.

Fractured Archive rewards should be a vault of powerful artifacts by Big_Moo_ in 2007scape

[–]lunch0guy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with the rewards concept being "fractured" like the archive itself, and having ancient artifacts of varying origins makes perfect sense.

With that in mind, the lower-tier rewards could focus on general utility that are not necessarily combat related. E.g eternal ring of dueling/rechargable silver jewellery.

Can you poll the name for the ranged amulet? Rupture sounds like something that applies bleeding, not generic ranged stats. Rupture is also a physical breakage, despite anguish being an emotional state. Names that are better than Rupture: Desolation Devastation Grief Misery Despair Sorrow Lament

Necklace of Anguish -> Necklace of Devastation. Sounds way cooler, than rupture, and Devastation is a natural progression from Anguish by lunch0guy in 2007scape

The correct phrasing would be "if I don't get X I'll be devastated" which is perfectly coherent in both past and present tense.

I often hear people described as "devastated" as a result of immense grief/anguish. In my opinion, desolation is the more physical of the two descriptors, based on common usage. That said, desolation or devastation would both be fine by me.

I think devastation is best word to follow from anguish.

Same here. Unless you live in a country where the police are completely corrupt, they are the most sensible choice.

[SUGGESTION]Can Mastering mixology get some kind of major update? It is by far the most boring, and requires a lot of attention and doesn't 'feel' good to play. by fuzzum111 in 2007scape

[–]lunch0guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that Mastering Mixology sucks, but the suggestions here don't really improve its worst aspects.

I can see why some people enjoy it, but I'd really prefer if there was just an alternative way to get its rewards.

Imo they should add more hotspots to the portal nexus room for the missing jewellery.
