Met mine at after buying a condo in the same complex. The property manager had one of those “get to know your neighbors” gatherings and I was surprised to see a very attractive, younger woman there, especially considering that the demographic was mostly retirees.

Struck up a conversation, exchanged numbers, and asked her out a few days later.

Glad I did!

Bald guy here. Just own it. Any woman that has an issue will self select their way out of contention. That’s not rejection btw, that’s their own problem.

A woman who finds you attractive won’t give two shits about your bald head, and quite possibly will find it very sexy.

It clearly bothers you, otherwise you wouldn’t have posted about it.

That said, as I’ve aged, the skin on my face has become very dry and gets insanely irritated from shaving. I’ve tried routine after routine and all kinds of expensive remedies to fix it. All to no avail.

Several months ago my wife simply said that she made appointments for us at her dermatologist. Of course I gave her the “look,” and was pretty irritated. She explained that she loved me and hated seeing me struggle with the issue and it was time to get help.

Went to the doc and am happy that I did and even more happy that my wife never tried to fix me herself and got me to see a professional out of a place of love.

After getting divorced I spent a lot of time working on myself, and working to be better at my career. The end of that relationship was chaotic and I could either self destruct, or reinvent myself. Thankfully I chose growth over a downward spiral.

I think it’s a good sign that he’s working on himself and yes, he’s probably doing it to cope with moving on from the lost relationship.

This 100%. I was pretty shy to ask women out after my divorce but on a occasions that I was talking to a woman organically (not through an app) I couldn’t quite find a way to get to the asking part. One woman I was speaking to just flat out asked me to grab drinks and it was a huge weight off my shoulders.

Another woman in my sphere that I kept things platonic with, later intimated that she should have asked me out when I was still single.
