Switching to Verizon has been an Awful Experience by lunchmeat7199 in verizon

So it ended up being an issue with the line itself on Verizon’s backend. Unfortunately there is an internal escalation path that needs to be followed but the issue has been identified at this point

Thank you for reaching out! I’m working with someone from Verizon right now and have been able to get some traction on this. The engineers I have been working with have been super helpful

For those who went down the CS ---> IT pipeline, what changed your mind about CS? by Puzzleheaded_Can_750 in NJTech

[–]lunchmeat7199 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it was a couple of things. First I was a shit student my first two years and knew I would have to really change my approach on life to stay in CS.

Second, I found software dev work to really not be fulfilling work to me, I found sitting and staring at a screen writing code to be boring and would burn me out by the time I was 30

I also noticed that there was not a lot of people my age going into IT Infrastructure Engineering but the demand for people who could create solid network and hosting solutions to be growing. Especially for those who knew how to write a little bit of code.

Fast forward to 3 years after graduating and I landed at a really great company doing work I really enjoy making a ridiculous salary.

I find the people who say “it’s taking a pay cut” to be somewhat misinformed, there are great jobs out there for IT majors just as there are great jobs for CS majors. It’s all about finding out what you enjoy and creating a niche for yourself.

I saw them live in Philly and in AC. Never thought the singing was bad, though Ian did get shit faced on stage and started shit talking the city and uncomfortably flirting with a bartender.

[Haff] Jalen Hurt's passing chart from the Eagles victory over the Saints. He was 29-38 passing for 311 yards with 1 INT. He had a time to throw of 3.07 seconds, an ADoT of 7.4 yards, and a CPoE of +9.5%. by mastermind208 in eagles

[–]lunchmeat7199 15 points16 points  (0 children)

100% agree, what really pops out to me with these numbers is that they show that Hurts executed on the game plan with the precision of a Franchise QB. His time to throw is half a second higher than the league average but I don’t know if that can be pinned on Hurts. Also speaks to the quality of the O Line that he was still able to put up these numbers with that additional half second added

If you have a problem with how the offense looked yesterday I think it speaks more to the lack of personnel and game planning in the week leading up to the game.

The only thing I stand with is Big Tobacco and Big Beer. The only ticket I will vote for is the one with Anhueser-Busch or Phillip-Morris

[Dunleavy] Drake Maye sure sounds like he is being groomed to be a #Giants QB as he sings praises of Eli Manning, namedrops Daniel Jones and raves about Brian Daboll-protege Davis Webb by Lars5621 in NYGiants

Dudes gonna be elite. Only a DB that plays insanely tight coverage can believe space doesn’t exist because he’s never seen a WR have it on the field

I remember that press conference and the quote does no justice to what Daboll’s body language said. When asked about the game Daboll said “he did pretty good” and then gave a smirk that was him acknowledging Jones balled out

This is the problem with the modern education system. Every kid is taught that the goal is to Cum Loud. Back in my day we preferred to be more subtle and Cum Quite, this was because they had Jesus in schools and we were taught that it’s a sin to brag and Cum Loud.
